Hillary's government would be a task force comprised of working groups

Who wants that nonsense?

I have had a flashback.

Hillary Rodham Clinton, who would like to be the Democratic Party's Presidential nominee, deigned Politico.com's Roger Simon to be worthy to ask her questions. The story which results is drab and prefabricated, but not because of anything which Simon says; rather, Hillary's peeps have her on a splendidly tight leash with script in hand (or memorized).

However, despite the mundanity of the affair, one Hillary quote stands out:

“I am focused on bringing to the White House a roll-your-sleeves-up, let’s-get-to-work, everybody-is-invited, good-ideas-are-welcome and hammer-out-what-we-need-to-do-together attitude,” Clinton said.

I remember the image of an untucked Ira Magaziner looking down and jotting notes with a slice of pizza in his hand. (I doubt the image exists apart from caricature, but humor me.) The flashback deals with a large task force broken into working groups of self-proclaimed experts and overpaid bureaucrats. They know what is best, and their decrees will be Hillary's gift to us, just as Hillarycare '93 was to be the Clintons' "gift to the American people."

That's how she wants to govern. That's part of why she will not win.

in combat will be why she won't win, whichever as long as this marxist doesn't win.

Freedom of Religion not Freedom from Religion

found here -- just to see if Chuck Hagel had lost his soul and retreated into a hatered-filled shell. If he were angry, bitter, soulless (or Linc Chafee), he'd have voted not to defend General Petraeus.

Chuck Hagel voted YEa. (SO, btw, did Pat Leahy.)

Unfortunately, with her well oiled machine, and her ability to distance herself from her previous life and her votes in the Senate, the woman never ever is accountable for anything. It's always someone else whose fingers are dirty. Worse yet, you can see in the adoring crowds and the adoring press, their salivating at the thought of having Bill and Hill back at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. They're all chomping at the bit to relive the 90s. So, I hope you're right; I hope it doesn't happen; I hope people wake up to the blatant manipulation she orchestrates thru her friends in Hollywood and the press. But living in the Democrat Shangri-la of Massachusetts, people fall for Kennedy's and Clinton's hook, line and sinker and that worries me.

The Slick-50® Candidate! Somehow Teflon® just isn't slippery enough!

If you were to pick any person running for president, either democrat or republican or even third party as the "Manchurian Candidate" who would you pick?

she will sail right through to Nov '08 without EVER being forced to confront a tough question from a reporter, newsperson or voter.

Her carefully scripted walz to the Presidency will be uninterrupted by the MSM, and NO other media will be allowed to get close enough to ASK a tough question!

Mr Hinz, but I thought you should know that I HATE Hillary.

I'm praying that somehow McCain will be the GOP candidate. because Hillary looks like a cakewalk to the Dem nomination.

I know a lot of people you would group as "leftist" that think Hillary is a shrewd oppertunist. We need someone in the Big Office thats gonna look out for us, and has been looking out for us. Hil, decidedly, has been doing nothing but building up her own run for the last 14 years.

She's as dishonest as they come.

Her mental defect of having to prove she is right could be her undoing. Reviving ShrillaryCare only to say she was right could be her achilles heel.
