They live in 20,000 square foot houses and deny free market plans to move poor families out of government housing.
They get $400.00 hair cuts and talk about spending your money too.
They send their kids to expensive private schools and deny the working poor vouchers to send their kids there too.
They fly on private jets to Davos, Switzerland to explain how simple minded we American folks are.
They plot denying us the right to drill in ANWR so they can make ethanol and drive up the costs of beer, milk, and steak.
They drive in SUV's to press events where they tell us we should all buy expensive two seat hybrids in which we'll die when hit by their SUV's.
The Democratic Party is the Party of Pretension.
Don't believe me?
Now they are having an Iowa Debate that will be exclusively in High Definition. An every man debate that not every man can see.
The Party of Pretension at its best.

And, well, the best way to do that is to make sure these people don't actually hear or see their candidates.

...that they mean High Definition and not "Hi! Deaf Nation"?
I think it's the latter since no one seems to care when these people lie through their teeth. Perhaps they cannot hear them.
It's pretty easy to make fun of HRC for being high maintenance and Edwards for being a pretty boy - but these kinds of posts really turn me off. As if none of our candidates are elitists?? Romney's house is just as big as Edwards. You're not pointing out real differences, you're just highlighting your ignorance of their similarities. You lose credibility with each of these types of blatantly partisan-hack posts.
are getting a lousy deal and we all need to do something about it. Romney doesn't claim to speak for the poor.

But do you actually believe Romney truly advocates anything he's saying? He's just as bad as HRC and PrettyBoy. They're all conniving opportunists.
Ron Paul '08
1) What, the, do you call a candidate who rails against earmarks, yet inserts his own massive pork projects into bills guaranteed of passing -- then votes against them, claiming to oppose the money he just got for his district?
2) Twenty hours is a little too brief a time here to be a Ron Paul shill. Blam.

The real story will be how much the Hildabeast's handlers spend (of campaign money) on makeup, hair, plasti-- er, on making her viewable in High Definition.
I also get the feeling that the Silky Pony's debate prep -- not on issues, mind you, but on hair and makeup -- will be beginning weeks out from the event, not just days like usual.
