Liar-in-Chief

Hillary Clinton seems to have learned an awful lot from her husband -- particularly how to campaign as and for Liar-in-Chief.
The Clintons really will say and do anything to get elected, won't they?!
Then, she recounted a trip to Bosnia in 1996 after the Dayton Peace Accords were signed, noting: “I was the first high-profile American to go.”
“We landed in one of those corkscrew landings and ran out because they said there might be sniper fire,” Mrs. Clinton recalled. “I don’t remember anybody offering me tea on the tarmac when that was happening.”
Ah, but, here's the truth:
As it turns out, the trip to Bosnia may not have been as harrowing as Mrs. Clinton explained to the voters here in Dubuque. The Daily News was first to report that Mrs. Clinton was accompanied on the Bosnia trip by Sinbad, a comedian, and Sheryl Crow, a singer. First Daughter Chelsea Clinton also was along for the ride.

sky's blue, and Clinton lies. Something never change.

her combat boots pounding on the tarmac, firing her M-16 with one hand, clutching a bag of grenades with the other, ammo belts around her hips, many, many ammo belts.
A witness, identified as one Mark Penn and an undecided, said'"I've never seen such bravery, a truly remarkable women and what a shot". Other undecideds could only shake their heads in awe and agree.
While sitting on an aide who offered himself as a bench and cleaning her M-16, little children gathering around to receive her blessing, the first wide-profile American to honor Bosnia with her weighty presence said in ethereal tones " after right wing, theocratic, extremist Christian fanatics who want to turn the clock back this is nothing, now where's the tea".
"a man's admiration for absolute government is proportinate to the contempt he feels for those around him". Tocqueville
it was Jack Bauer who brought her the tea and he bowed deeply with reverence when he handed it to her.
Another time I wish I could recommend comments!

If Mitt's in, I'm out. I'd rather have a lying carpetbagger from a party that needs to get whacked upside the head than a lying panderer from a party that was once the best hope for the nation.

You are shortsighted re: SCOTUS and many other things
Hillary is a liar and her whole persona is fake. She is rabidly anti-military and very socialistic.
It also seems Romney will say and do anything to get elected.
Apparently not. Mitt's said any of a number of things that have outraged certain people and made them his implacable foes. They rage over what he says, over what he doesn't say. If he changes his mind they rage over that. If he doesn't, they rage over that. It's all very predictable.
Anybody remember that Ron Brown and a passel of high level corporate types were killed when the same plane Hillary used crashed for no apparent reason thereby removing any chance that he might speak up against bubba.

In her mind - what there is of it - if she says it that makes it fact .
This condition is common among leftist progressives... a willing detachment from reality .
If it serves their agenda, if it serves to empower them politically or financially they will say anything and damn near do anything . NO worries the media has their back !
What is it about anti-Romney-bots. Every blog they try to turn into anything bad about Romney. It seems they can't say anything intelligent other that Romney is this, or Romney is that, but just can't present logical comparisions and arguments.
Anti-Romney bots are no more annoying than anti-Rudy bots, anti-Fred bots, anti-McCain bots or even anti-Huck bots.
By the same token, pro-Romney bots, pro-Rudy bots, pro-Fred bots, pro-McCain bots, and YES, even pro-Huck bots are just as sinister and annoying.
Wouldn't it be interesting if we could debate issues -- and the candidate's stands on those issues -- without getting into the p*ssing matches that the various BOTS engage in?
Nahh, more fun to take cheap shots at the other guy!
Huckabee, Obama, Romney or Giuliani misspeak, it's front page news and they're taken to the woodshed by the pundits. Ms. Hillary exaggerates her "experience" and everyone chuckles and says "Aw shucks, she's just being Clintonian." As an electorate, are we that damn stupid to let her and him get away with this nonsense? How is it we let her take credit for her 35 years of experience, yet she never offers any substantive examples and had no accountability for anything other than the healthcare debacle. She can't have it both ways. So, if she's so damn experienced and was her husbands chief counsel, here's a few questions:
What was your counsel regarding Janet Reno and Waco when women and children were effectively slaughtered?
What was your cousel when our troops were pinned down in Somalia - were you pushing for more troops, or did you cousel to stand down?
What was your cousel when the U.S. Navy was off the shores of Haiti planning to dock, and then turned when they saw the throngs on the dock shouting and screaming w/sticks in their hands?
And lastly, why are the Clinton papers still under lock and key? Give us a date certain on release before the election.
When she answers some of these question, I'll be willing to consider her experience. Until then she's a deceitful power hungry woman who needs to be given a reality check.
She has to be the biggest socialist I have ever seen in my lifetime...I am happy to report that I have changed a couple of young women's minds at my work....by just using her own words against her...my favorite....We will take those taxes for the common good.
I just tell people to listen for her socialist buzz words and they are always happy to come back and tell me they heard them....and how turned off they were by them ;-)
Freedom of Religion not Freedom from Religion
from lefty to conservative. I actually voted for Bill twice, but I never liked them and she always scared the wits out of me. I hope I don't sound like a nut when I say I think she personifies evil. She lies and destroys the way the rest of us breathe. The amazing thing is she apparently still has a cabal of minions doing her dirty work under cover of darkness.
The danger this woman poses cannot and must not be underestimated.

she possesses ZERO of Bill's personal charm and charisma, so she gives lots more people the creeps than he did.
Exactly right; and people had better pay attention. If the electorate continues to flirt with the Dems, we well collectively get our clocks cleaned. Conservatives need to understand what's at stake with this election: the judiciatry - two to three justices will retire; National Security - immigration and the war on terror (it can only get worse); taxes (between a Dem Congress and the likes of Hillary, we'll see middle class (adjusted gross over $100K) income taxes snowball - dividend and capital gains from 15% - 28 plus%; higher brackets, death taxes, etc. This is like Christmas for a liberal, and if we let them continue unraveling what Bush had contained, we're going to rue the day we ousted the GOP.
is writing a book with his wife about this phenomenon and he says that most of his material comes from Hillary's own words, letters, and even her books. In her memoir, she recounts most trips with such statements as "I rode an elephant with the first lady of such and such". In other words, when Hillary says she has lots of experience it is all nonsense though we already know this.
I wrote a piece on my blog detailing just how far Hillary will go to buy votes. Here it is
Lying about her record is only one way in which Hillary misrepresents things in order to get votes...
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor
Who decided to take the First Daughter to Bosnia? How many soldiers were assigned to guard this party of luminaries.
Gee, I hate to be realistic about this lying bit. But, do you really believe your party is without sin. There is not a politician on either side who has not told a lie. And, as a polygraph examiner, everybody lies. If you deny it, you are lying. I will be happy to prove it.
HTG, the issue is whether Hillary lies as a pattern of behavior. The evidence for that continues to accumulate, and this post just illustrates one more example that seems rather egregiou.
The issue of pattern of behavior is a different order of magnitude than whether such or such utterance is a lie, or whether whether every politician has ever uttered a lie.
Establishing the rather trivial truth of the previous paragraph does not negate the issue of behavior pattern. "You too" doesn't constitute an adequate defense.
Now if you wish to document others candidates who lie as a pattern of behavior, you're welcome to write a post on it. Some here seem to think that of Huckabee, for instance.
I prefer a measure of competence in people I hire to do a job.

There's the rush of the caffeine, similar to battle. Then there's the risk that the water has not been boiled enough to kill all the germs, thus exposing Hillary to disease and death. Then there's the risk that the VRWC put something in the tea.
Oh intrepid Hillary! O our Joan of Arc! We salute thee!
Why else would they send two human shields with her?
