McCain on Hillary

Well said Senator McCain. Well said.
You know, I have a lot of issues with Senator McCain on some issues, but it's stuff like this that makes me think I could be happy with him as President. I said the same about Rudy after his newspaper ad and this holds for both of them. Between McCain and Rudy, I'd vote McCain. But damned if I'm not starting to think the more this thing rolls along the more the candidates on our side are starting to blossom for the most part.

The Senator and the Mayor slammed Mrs. Clinton and rightfully so. Hillary Clinton waltzes around like she's untouchable and these guys have got to start slamming her on her record, her policies, and her dirty laundry. Rudies web ad was superb. All in all, I enjoyed seeing both Rudy and John hold her accountable and I hope it's not the last time.
He is absolutely right to call on HRC to denounce that despicable ad. McCain, despite his strong support for President Bush in '04 came out strongly against the Swift Boat ads. I'm sure it didn't endear him to some on our side but he had the strength of his convictions. If HRC can't simply say that she disagrees with the ad, she doesn't deserve to be president.
This is starting to look like one of those Karl Rove conspiracies the way it is playing out so perfectly. Perhaps a parting shot as he enters the real world.
A life of its own and politically it certainly is the gift that keeps on giving. I understand that move on is coming up with a new ad next week.
I also understand that Moveon will soon run anti Rudy ads in Iowa. Watch for Rudy's numbers go up in the state if that happens.

I had suggested in a previous post that you were ignoring other Republicans' criticism of moveon's shameful ad. I stand corrected, and your overall point is well taken: our candidates have to take it to the Dems (and our side has to stop saying things like, "There's an 80 percent chance that Hillary's going to win.").
