Media Conspiracy Refuses to Cover Almost 30,000 votes for Ron Paul
The truth will out.

As of this moment, the zionist neocons in the media are claiming that Ron Paul has finished next to last in the Iowa Caucuses, and that he is trailing the imperialist Bush lackey pig Mike Huckabee by almost 30,000 votes. However, we at RedState have learned from reliable sources that there is a media conspiracy afoot to not report votes for Ron Paul! That's correct, although Ron Paul actually received over 40,000 votes, we have reason to believe that the corporate media is simply refusing to report on the last 30,000 votes that Ron Paul received so that they do not have to mention Ron Paul's name over their capitalist pig airwaves anymore.
What evidence have we uncovered as to the existence of any of these unreported votes? Well, numerous objective observers on the ground have noted that Ron Paul was, uh, in third place in all the major polls taken in Iowa before the caucuses. Plus, Ron Paul has won virtually every online poll and straw poll that has ever been taken anywhere, ever, and he has raised more money in the last quarter than any of the other candidates. Plus, for goodness' sake, Ron Paul has a blimp. Do any of the other (and by other, I mean "second-tier") candidates have a blimp? I think not.
When you add all that up it's simply impossible that Ron Paul has anything less than the largest number of supporters in this country, and it is simply impossible that he would finish next to last, beating only a guy who didn't show up. The only reasonable explanation is that Ron Paul actually won the Iowa Caucuses, and the GOP establishment, in cahoots with Rupert Murdoch, have either tossed out 30,000 votes, or are conspiring to simply not report their existence, all so that they can keep him out of the New Hampshire Debate, because they just can't take the risk that Ron Paul's message will get out in a nationally televised debate (and no, the previous dozen or so debates in which Ron Paul was allowed to participate do not count).
It's time to act, Ron Paul supporters! Call the telephone numbers of the news directors of all the major news outlets and demand that they report Ron Paul's last 30,000 votes. Let them know that you know that they're suppressing the truth. If they laugh in your face and hang up, call back again, and if they hang up again, call back and let them know that you know that they're really a Zionist and that when the Ron Paul revolution is finally successful, their names and addresses will be entered into the appropriate national databases.
Don't be afraid to speak truth to power, Ron Paul supporters! Ron Paul got the most votes in Iowa and if we can only pierce the corporate media veil, the whole world will also learn of this victory!
There's more below the fold...
In all seriousness, I used to feel merely apathetic toward Ron Paul, however I felt about his lunatic supporters. But then I learned that he called Jack Kemp and Bob Dole terrorists while defending the PLO, thought that Pol Pot did a swell job of cleaning up Southeast Asia after we sensibly left Vietnam, wouldn't defend South Korea if North Korea attacked, and just for emphasis has answered every foreign policy question over the last two weeks by pointing out how great things became in Southeast Asia when we left. You know, I used to think it was a pretty good decision on my part to ask Erick if we could toss Paul's supporters out on their ears; in retrospect, removing from a Republican site anyone who would support this man was one of the sounder judgments I've made in my life (although still far behind the decision to marry MrsNachos).
So the question I have for Ron Paul (not any of his crazy supporters, we still don't want to hear from them) is this: exactly how emphatically do you have to be rejected by the Republican party before we can all end the charade of pretending that you're a Republican? You've got (had?) a bunch of money and you still came in next to last in a very small state - last, in fact, out of all candidates who actually campaigned in Iowa - so how much clearer does the point need to be made? Nevermind your blissful ignorance of the dangers of Islamic fascism, you're determined to be on the wrong freaking side of the Cold War. The last thing this party needs at this point is a candidate who wants to go back to the 70s and 80s and apologize for murderous communist dictators in an effort to just make the United States leave them all alone so they can rule their area of the world in peace. Like every other candidate running in this election, you've attempted to take the mantle of Reagan, so let me take this opportunity to remind you, sir, of what Ronald Reagan stood for and the ideas he built the Republican coalition around:
You obviously missed a few things about what Reagan stood for - and what the modern incarnation of this party was built around - at some point along the way, and it's a little bit late for you to relearn it now. So obviously, this relationship isn't really working out, and it's clear to everyone involved that you're gearing up to leave anyway, so can we please get it over with sooner, rather than later? I prefer to have only one party in this country that runs Presidential candidates who apologize for Pol Pot, thanks. It keeps things clearer for the voters who pay attention, you understand. So you let us know what needs to happen and we'll be happy to oblige.

Haha
Thank you for that, it made me smile for the first time this evening
That is one awesome clip of Reagan I hadn't seen before but had only heard paraphrased. Thanks.
Now where's a guy like that when you need one?

I think Reagan is a once in a lifetime kind of guy, but Fred is a reasonable facsimile. I'm terribly disappointed in my party tonight.
Ron Paul came in 3rd-ish, in the clump with Thompson and McCain. The bottom of the clump, to be sure, but a respectable enough showing.
Huckabee 34
Romney 25
Thompson 13
McCain 13
Paul 10
Giuliani 3
It's still too early in the process to declare a candidate irrelevant because they got 3 points lower than folks who have a plausible shot at the nomination.
If Thompson and McCain hadn't split the voters looking for a Grumpy Old Man so evenly, it might be a different story. But, as it is now, Ron Paul is performing as well as the second tier candidates. Pretty impressive for a man who is completely nutters, eh?
Granted, I can't see Paul picking up supporters from any of the other candidates should they falter -- "I'm disappointed that my rational candidate is losing ground, perhaps it's time to look to an irrational candidate?" -- but, for the moment, he's done reasonably respectably.
The name calling and internal bickering is rather pablum. Perhaps rather than bashing one candidate in a childish manner, we should focus on trying to return the Party to its roots in Goldwater-Reaganism. As radical as Paul may be, he does represent in some manner a small but vocal wing of the Republican Party, championed by Barry Goldwater Jr, Mark Sanford, and Ron Paul. The candidate that is most out of place is probably Mike Huckabee, he has little conservative value. The childish nature of the Paul bashing and the lack of focus on conservative philosophy and the representation of it i.e. the Fiscal Cons, Defense Cons, and Social Cons are regressive and damaging to the Party. I don't know, I like Dr. Paul, Fred Thompson, and Duncan Hunter, the rest just seem like East Coast elitists and one southern preacher/populist. Stop the fighting and do something productive, like emphasizing understanding between the factions to rebuild the coalition.
Ron Paul was interviewed by Bloomberg TV the other day, he cheered the democrats, insulted the Republicans no wonder the left loves him so much.
Now that was one of the best posts yet. It is time for Paul to leave. For everyone that calls other Republicans RINO Ron Paul is really the only Rino in the group. Can you name another candidate that ran for President outside of the party? Paul's miserable showing means he should just get out and stop wasting everyone's time. Besides, Ron Paul is a racist http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2007/12/26/85617/090

I'm sure they are holding them in Hard Disk Drives disguised as Game Boys at Iowa Republican HQ. Then they will release them after Super Tuesday with a "gosh we slipped up and forgot".
Ron Paul has just too many things wrong with him.

Ron Paul supporters are the people who don't typically vote and wouldn't support any of the more traditional Republican candidates when he falls by the wayside anyhow.
