After an RS diarist linked to this post by pro-Hillary blogger Taylor Marsh purporting to be an email exchange between Marsh and former Gore campaign manager and CNN commentator Donna Brazile, our own Moe Lane followed up with Ms. Brazile to get her side of the story. I'll reproduce Moe's summary here:

I have personally spoken with Ms. Brazile, and while she has not yet seen the article in question she has indicated (I paraphrase) that no-one from Taylor Marsh's website has contacted her office to check the veracity of the piece: that she does not think it wise to inflame passions further; and that the Democratic primary would be better suited if supporters of various candidates concentrated on the positives, instead of negatives. You can take that with as many grains of salt as you like, but she was both prompt in returning my call and quite civil in speaking with me (yes, I gave my name and website from the start). - Moe Lane

PS - She also told Moe that she reads RS. Well, of course; you can't be the one person in DC who doesn't!

... Ms Brazile on a great many issues, but I think it is cool that she visits here. I am a firm believer that reasoned discussion and debate are what our American system of government is all about. You don't have to agree with each other, but it is nice we can still talk civilly. It gives me some hope it is still possible.

Good job Moe, and thank you Ms Brazile.

Yeah, she and I never agree politically, but she is one of my favorite political operatives on their side.

Fight On!

Donna Brazile is a typical AA racist. She values any politician who shares the same skin color with her.

It's just so laughable to see the kind of 'admiration' showered on her by redstaters. Enemy's enemy can be our friend from time to time, but don't forget she's still our enemy.

If Obama is the nominee, be prepared for Donna's tirade against 'racism' when anybody dares to question Obama's credentials.

Violate fair use again on this website and you will be gone. Do you understand me?

The Fuzzy Puppy of the VRWC. I've been usurped!

because they used to be one of the best "dynamic duos" available for political commentary, and it's also easy to imagine them shopping at outlet stores together.

Ms. Brazile is a nice lady and a very interesting person. I understand she's from one of the establishment Creole families of Louisiana, IIRC.

The post in question was not written by Taylor Marsh herself, but by a guest poster named "Masslib" who claims that he/she had the published email exchange with Donna Brazile him/herself.
