Obama Calls Bill Clinton A Liar

In an interview with ABC News' Robin Roberts, Obama takes Bill Clinton to task over "statements that are not factually accurate":
"You know the former president, who I think all of us have a lot of regard for, has taken his advocacy on behalf of his wife to a level that I think is pretty troubling," Obama said. "He continues to make statements that are not supported by the facts -- whether it's about my record of opposition to the war in Iraq or our approach to organizing in Las Vegas.""This has become a habit, and one of the things that we're going to have to do is to directly confront Bill Clinton when he's making statements that are not factually accurate," Obama said.
Watch the video:
Obama didn't actually say Bill Clinton is a liar. He was more polite saying Bill's statements aren't "factually accurate" and are "not supported by the facts."
According to Roberts, Obama was apparently referring to Clinton's "fairy tale" comment and Clinton's assertion that Nevada union officials backing Obama were strong-arming members into caucusing for Obama.
This is certainly not the first time Bill Clinton has been accused of failing to tell the truth. Even Clinton admitted that answers he gave about Ms. Lewinsky during a 1998 deposition were false and that he "knowingly gave misleading and evasive answers." Obama is making a mistake here. He should not be out front calling Bill Clinton a liar. Just as Hillary is having Bill do her dirty work, Obama should use surrogates to call the former president a liar.

For Obama, the deeper he gets in the mud with the Clinton's the less he is the principled leader that rises above the partisanship that he is trying to portray himself. Dick Morris has long felt that the Clinton's would try and bring him down in the mud with them because when they did they would strip that image away.
For the Clintons, they have a hard time attacking Obama because there is little difference on policy and thus it is personality and image, and he is much better on both. That is why Obama is a huge threat to them. It is difficult for the Clintons to attack him. They tried the experience card but it doesn't look as though the Dem electorate is buying and possibly in part because Hillary isn't that much more experienced.
They are having a hard time attacking him so we get these outlandish attacks.
Obama is much easier to attack in the general election when policy differences are more clear.
Here is how I analyzed Obama's vulnerabilities...
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor
wait until Hillary gets the nomination.
The mud is the natural domain of the Clinton's, Obama would have to make a conscious effort to crawl down to their level. I agree that he should use spokesmen more but first he has to make them more visible. For now a measured response is appropriate and necessary to highlight the Clinton's slime.
By election day, win or lose, Bill will most likely will be in a straitjacket and the crap these two bottom feeders live for, which plays reasonably well in Democratic circles where they don't know any better and take it for serious politics, could well blow up in their over sized jowls.

The first is DUH! welcome to the Clinton 'party' there Obama! Bill lying is at the least 10 year old news, closer to 15 years.
Second, when your enemies are trying to distroy one another, the only thing you can do is: GET THE H*LL OUT OF THEIR WAY!
Oh, and anyone still think that there will be a Clinton/Obama ticket come fall?
That Bob Kerrey referred to Clinton as an unusually gifted liar, years before Monica Lewinsky. Good to see other Democrats catching on.
And someone has finally noticed.
Come to think of it, pants have been a recurring theme with the Clinton crowd, from the debate over who wears them in the Clinton marriage to Bill's inability to keep his pants zippered to Hillary's pantsuits to Monica's inability to keep her thong panties covered to Sandy Burger's pants full of classified documents to supposedly dedicated feminists panting over Bill.

I had the misfortune of seeing him a few minutes ago on Fox recounting how he sat alone at home (good, no contradictory witnesses) listening to the I have a dream speech and how he was moved to become a part of the CR Movement by King's words. BS!!!
It should be very easy verify what, if any, live broadcasts were made of that speech and what, if any, were available in Hope, Arkansas. I'm two years younger than him and likewise grew up in a segregated, Southern state. I assure you that Southerners did not hang on MLK's every word and the kinds of people who owned radio and TV stations weren't going out of their way to pick up MLK's activities. There was NO live TV news to speak of in those days and most radio news was just some local guy reading the AP or UPI wire reports.
I was reasonably attuned to what went on in the World for a teenager, and that meant that I watched Huntley-Brinkley, all fifteen minutes of it, if I didn't have anything better to do. I remember knowing about a "March on Washington" and that's about it.
That statement by WJC should be followed up on, and I'm willing to bet a dollar to a doughnut that there was NO way he heard that speech live.
In Vino Veritas
but for sure he witnessed those Black churches burning in Arkansas in the '60's, didn't he ?

Barack Obama is correct to imply that Bill Clinton soiled the presidency [read between the lines]. Clinton is the biggest liar ever to hold that office. Even LBJ & sad lil' Gee-mah were honest injuns compared to the sex-addict compulsive liar named Billy Jeff. I hope Obama keeps coming back against that sex-monster creep who ruined the lives of so many women and yet is the idol of the feminazis.
BJ Clinton inserting himself into places where he's not wanted is becoming too much to take.
... that this will have to help us (the GOP) in the fall, no matter which one wins.
If it's Hillary... the first question to her is 'are you going to try and destroy me the way you destroyed Obama?' and just keep on hammering her on it. With every attack, 'there they go again!'
Then hit her on the 'can't run w/o Bill' thing. 'Stop hiding behind him Hillary! Who's going to run the (White) House?'
and keep hitting, and hitting, and hitting, all the while telling people just how horrible what they did to Obama.
"Mrs. Clinton, just who is going to make policy in a 3rd Clinton term?"
"Well, you get two for one with us!"
"Would you be cofortable with my wife making policy?"
"Has your wife been elected President twice?"
"No, she has not. But our Constitution says your husband can't hold the office again. Isn't this a way for you two to get around the Constitution?"
The 'fallout' and the anger from them over something like this would be priceless.
If Obama should make it... well we could 'use' the same mostly w/o being called on it. And should the media do so, point out the hypocrisy. That, the mistakes he'll make, as well as nailing him down on policy should do the trick.

Pols have to hate youtube:
Larry Sinclair looks into the camera and alledges Barack Obama of using crack cocaine with him and having homosexual relations with him, in 1999, while Obama served in the IL legislature. Sinclair says the two had relations on two occasions, once in a limo and once in a hotel.
Sinclair offers to take polygraph.

... this (start at about 1:35 if you want to skip):
Not sure why of course, but it also makes me hungy from popcorn and Raisinets.
