Paging Greg Davis (MS-01) and other GOP Candidates

It's not a bad commercial, but it could be better.

The problem is, and you Greg Davis should know because you are from the South, people kind of cringe when you try to tie people directly to their pastor's words.

So, instead of hanging Reverend Wright's words on Obama, hang Obama's actions on Obama.

You say, "But when Obama's pastor cursed America blaming us for 9/11, Childers said nothing."

Instead, you should say "Obama spent twenty years in a church that blames America for 9/11 and Childers was happy to get Obama's endorsement."

In fact, here's a great script:

"Barack Obama spent twenty years in a church that blames America for 9/11 and preaches that the government invented AIDS to kill black men.

"Obama started and raised his family in that church.

"Now Barack Obama has endorsed [insert candidate here].
OR "Now [insert candidate name here[ has endorsed liberal Barack Obama.

"When Obama said middle America is bitter and clings to guns and God as a result, [insert candidate's name] said nothing. [Insert candidate's name] did not stand up for you.

"[Insert candidate's name] and Obama are too liberal for [insert state]."

Erick, Thank you for your post. I'm paying crazy attention to this race, being that I "invested" a little bit in it and have sent an email to Davis' campaign.

You might (or have) find this op-ed interesting:

~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Republicans believe every day is the 4th of July, but the Democrats believe every day is April 15."
--Ronald Reagan
It's not showing up here.
Fight On!
My understanding of his problem is that the other Republican in the race had been actively working against Davis when he got bumped out. But I think the GOP leadership has come down hard on the guy now.
Fight On!
