(d) A surrogate spiritual mentor guest preaching in his church of twenty years mocking Hillary Clinton
If you guessed "d", you are correct.
For twenty years Barack Obama sat in a pew while hate poured forth. His preacher tore into America, tore into Israel, and expressed solidarity with terrorist regimes like Libya. Obama did nothing.
Even when the spotlight shined brightly on the church, Obama stood by his pastor until it became politically inconvenient.
And now, a guest preacher who said something about Hillary, causes Obama to get conviction enough to leave.
What a standard: you proclaim yourself opposed to America and Obama stands behind you. You mock a Democrat and Obama throws you under the bus.
Again, it is no longer about Obama having no shame. This man has no class.
Oh, and yes, this is another example of Obama caving to the right wing when we turn up the heat. Can't wait to see him cave to China, North Korea, Venezuela, and Iran.

so now he risks losing the black vote by turning his back on them? It doesn't make sense, but then the more I see of Obama the more convinced I am that his educational certificates are fakes.
After that rant, he'll never get the Hillary vote. In previous years, I would suspect Hillary is paying these ministers (I use that term very loosely), but even this you would think is bad enough to permanently divide the party.
I just can't see how this is a positive move for Obama. I'm not saying he should have stayed with the church, but the day for that decision was long past. Now any move like the one he made today is only going to tick more people off. It's not going to affect those who are already disgusted by him.
Never in a million years could I have anticipated an election cycle like the one we're witnessing. It's very disturbing, entertaining, and frightening all at the same time.
Heck, I'd guess than even if one of his parents turned out to be white they'd still vote for him.

I would guess what prompted Obama to leave, was the upcoming meeting of the superdelegates to decide the Dem nominee.

Pfleger is much more to Obama than a "guest Preacher" as Erick stated. He gave thousands of dollars to him over the years in direct contributions. He helped Obama make connections and supported him during his Congressional run. He served on Obama's "Catholic Outreach" official committee, and campaigned for Obama in Iowa. He defended Wright and Farrakhan a few months ago.
Oh yeah, in a 2004 interview Obama stated that his three spiritual mentors were:

Rev. Wright
Father Pfleger

Thanks kyle8. This one is new to me. So has the Meeks shoe dropped yet? I don't watch mainstream media and don't surf near as much as I used to, so I'm not as up on things as I used to be. Did I miss this one?
Obama is scared spitless to sit down for a Fox interview. They'd eat his lunch. But, I wonder if he's considering it more strongly. Hmmm. Dang right-wingers ruining it for him and that ever-so-proud potential First Lady. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The heat is on, baby!
I do believe Barack left the church after he found out they allowed a white man to enter.
Now the MSM will push this so far in the background that it will make good news from Iraq look like a daily media blitz. Lets hope that someone finds a video with Obama doin a little dance in the church while Wright is bashing the USA, cause even that would be tough to get on CBS, NBC, MSNBC or CNN
