Rasmussen: Fred in the Lead for 2nd Week

Last week, Rasmussen had Fred at 28, Rudy at 27, and McCain and Romney tied at 10% each.

This week, Rasmussen has Fred at 27, Rudy at 23, Romney at 12, and McCain at 11.

For perspective, a month ago it was Rudy at 25, Romney at 16, McCain at 15, and Thompson at 12.

Now, here's the caveat on these numbers — they are national numbers and not particularly reflective of state by state numbers. Had I to guess right now, I'd expect Romney to win in Iowa, the first battle. Romney might even do well in New Hampshire. From there though, we go into a super primary season and we're already started to see a race shape up between Fred and Rudy in South Carolina and a number of states with big votes for the nomination.

"Rasmussen shows Romney surging this week vs last."
or
"Rasmussen shows McCain surging this week vs last."

"Rudy collapses; supporters flocking to Mitt"

Run like Reagan!

How come only two polls showing Fred ahead are front paged- but YESTERDAY another RCT poll showing Rudy with a 9% lead is ignored?

Not that there is any kind of selective posting going on (sarcasm off)

Well then, you can do something about that - write your own blog about it and it might get bumped up (assuming you write it well and not just post that "Rudy is the only one who can win").

We have to take the threat of Senator Clinton seriously. President Clinton managed to win the Presidency with 57% of the vote against him – no mean feat. HRC will be able to bring that expertise to bear on her own run, but without the charisma! What can go wrong?

Run like Reagan!
