It has not gone unnoticed that while the rest of the field is throwing stones at each other or none at all, Rudy is hitting the Democrats hard.
Here is his latest.

Is how he is able to re-frame the debate in reasonable terms so seamlessly after Democrats have tried their best to mangle it.
That's what you get in a Republican who has done hand-to-hand combat – quite successfully, I might add – with Democrats in the liberal bastions of New York for so long.
It is perhaps one of his most appealing attributes as a presidential contender.
Still, his social positions, confounding stance on whether or not immigrating illegally is a crime or not, and my skepticism about his judicial nominations (I fear Maureen Mahoney and Alex Kozinski instead of Allison Eid, Margaret Ryan, and R. Ted Cruz) just won't allow me to support him in the primary.
If he wins, though, I think that almost all sectors of the Republican party, save those who vote on social issues alone, will be able to enthusiastically support Giuliani in the general election should he win the primary.
If Giuliani loses the primary, he'd be an outstanding selection as the Secretary of Defense.
That may be the best ad from either side I've seen yet. That really is a hard-hitting ad. I'm not even a Democrat and I winced in pain from it!
Hillary's quote in this clip states, "...requires the willing suspension of disbelief."
If something requires you to suspend belief, it is doubtful or unbelievable.
If something requires you to suspend disbelief, it means that you consider it to be the truth.
So what did she really mean?
"Willing" flips your parsing of the statement.
"The willing suspension of disbelief" is a helpful phrase normally used to describe the ability to derive pleasure from a work of fiction:
1) one opens the book or sits in the theater with full knowledge that the story about to be entered is false, a condition which normally and properly--in other areas of life--requires a response of disbelief;
2) in order to fully enjoy the story--known to be false at the outset--one is required, temporarily, to willingly suspend disbelief, that is, immerse oneself in the story by accepting its preconditions as true
The phrase in my Senator's mouth means:
"we all know that the testimony we are hearing is false;
we are being asked to pretend that it is not"
soli Deo gloria
is a phrase long used in fiction writing. It is what every writer strives for. It admits that the story is fiction, but when the reader becomes involved in the story to the point of believing and even caring for the characters..."the willing suspension of disbelief," the author has accomplished what he/she set out to do.
She is trying to be clever -- by using that well-known phrase, she is calling his testimony fiction, without having the guts to call it a lie! It is typical Hillary weasel, allowing here to claim, "I didn't call him a liar. What do you mean I called him a liar? Just another right-wing smear..."

nasty. I normally don't like nasty ads... but this one was nasty in a good way.
Isn't he hitting the Dems hard?
He was out there swinging at Clinton the other day.
I found this earlier today.
McCain said the following about MoveOn's shameful ad: "It's disgraceful, it's got to be retracted and condemned by the Democrats and MoveOn.org ought to be thrown out of this country, my friends."
Fred, too, has been vocal on this. And Rudy's ad is great, of course.
I love RedState, but it doesn't go unnoticed that there's an occasional disregard for the facts.
there are so MANY in New York. (and that's not counting the Times and other MSM outlets)
this, her comments at the hearing were despicable and inexcusable. I know she thought it was clever Clintonian word-parsing, calling somebody a liar to his ace but not using the words.
Especially since Elizabeth Edwards, of all people, has made a sensible and decent comment that a career military officer like Gen Petraeus should not be attacked in this way. Why can't Hillary say something similar? But she can't.
Unfortunately, it won't be seen by the audience that neeeds to see it-the few remaining sane Democrats and the independents. It does no good if the only people who view it are us right wing political junkies. The same is true for all the adds that the RNC comes out with.
The naive forgive and forget.
The foolish forget but do not forgive.
The wise forgive but do not forget.
O'Reilly had two Dem strategists on and he made the point that the Dems and Moveon will be linked together. He pointed out that Nixon won in 1972 during another unpopular war because his opponent was perceived as far left. The same thing can happen here. The Dems are clearly tied to Moveon, Kos, and the Huffington Post who recently co sponsored an internet debate. The far left turns off the rest of the country and the Dems pay homage to them at their own peril.
Now, who is the author of your quote?
"The nine most dangerous words in the English language are 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help'"
Ronald Reagan
Good job, Rudy. Good job, John. Good job, Fred. I say that in no particular order. They all did a very good job of directing the discomfort where it belonged and the disinfecting sunight in exactly the right direction...something Republicans have not been able to effectively do for a while. My theory is still that many current politicians are under threat of legal proceedings if they swing out effectively at dems. Or they are running scared.
So, good, finally! All of our troops deserve this kind of support.
ps: and as an extra bonus I happened upon John Stossel's "sick in america" last night which was a great takedown of Sicko Michael Moore. You need to see any part of that you can if you can find it.
has figured out the way to win the hearts and minds of the Republican Party is to hammer Hillary. He also makes it her fault so he's not hitting a girl. Good for him.

Calling on her to apologize means this will continue to hang over her head. She can be badgered about it until she A. Apologizes and mortally offends a key Dem constituency -- the idiot left or B. Doesn't apologize and offends the majority of Americans. Well done.
Of course she will say she was "deceived" by this president. She certainly was gullible with the last one too...
