Another reason we're supporting Pete Olson in TX-22 is because he's a serious candidate with a serious background. Shelley Sekula-Gibbs Jackie Joyner Kersey Sis-Boom-Baa does not like that Pete is highlighting her record of saying anything to get elected. So what does her campaign manager do? He attacks Pete Olson for serving in the military.
Currier reiterated that Olson, who grew up in this area, was in the Navy for nine years and a Senate staffer for another nine years before moving to Sugar Land last summer to run for Congress. Sekula Gibbs, meanwhile, has lived here for her adult life and practiced medicine in this area in addition to serving on the council.
Let's get this straight: People shouldn't vote for Pete because he served his country in the military and then went to work for the people of Texas by working for one of its United States Senators, but they should vote for Shelley because she's spent her life popping pimples and doing skin scrubs?
I would submit that one of these two people had a few months in Congress and chased off every staffer in her office.
I would also submit that when one has been both pro-choice and pro-life, pro-illegal immigrant and anti-illegal immigrant, pro-big government and anti-big government, and liberal the whole time that person is not the best choice for office.
We continue to support Pete Olson in Texas-22. Shelley had her turn and she blew it.

Shelly is sort of like BHO. Empty suit. She had a relatively liberal voting record while on the City Council. So once she got to DC she'd be yet another RINO. But I hope we can finally defeat "Dim Nick".
I heard it on the X......
I knew anything about her, when I heard her first election radio ad several years ago. It was all about how she was this moral crusader who shut down some business because they were "hurting the children". It his all the wrong notes. Pandering, fake moral crusaders are the version of populism which appeals to the right wing voter.

Sweet merciful Lord if we can't get rid of PR albatrosses like this gal we don't deserve to win in November.
I'll go a step further and say, based on my experience, that she's borderline crazy. Nobody I know who's been in this line of work for more than 4 years wants anything to do with her.
And Olson's not just a more viable option, he's a genuinely smart, savvy guy with plenty of horse sense. He's a steady conservative without delusions of grandeur, understands the legislative process well, and has hired competent people with solid track records in campaigns. He's the right guy to take back this district - no baggage whatsoever.
