I am not sure how much stock I would put in the contention that going negative on Obama is a surefire way for Hillary Clinton to experience a political renaissance. The point, however, is that irrespective of my beliefs, Hillary Clinton seems to believe that going negative on Obama is a surefire way to experience a political renaissance. Which is why the coming weeks and months are going to be ugly on the Democratic side.
A joint ticket with Clinton and Obama in one position or the other? I suppose that it is a possibility. But given how crazy and nasty this campaign is going to get, I share Obama's reticence that such a ticket will actually be formed.

.....Franklin Roosevelt toyed with the idea of emasculating all surviving German males in order to ensure, after Germany's having started two world wars in twenty five years, that another generation of Americans would not have to finish a third world war started again by Germany. Islam, in contrast, has been at war with Christianity and Western Civilization since 723 AD, a considerably longer period than the mere twenty five years Roosevelt contemplated.
Neither Clinton nor Obama qualify as Frank Roosevelts, instead more like recent graduates of the Neville Chamberlain School of Foreign Policy. Nor do they stack up favorably against the shadows of either HST or JFK, both proponents of robust foreign policies and advocates of incomparable militaries.
Howie Dean and his predecessor, Terry McCauliffe, should proceed at once down to the nearest costume store to purchase both politicians fake mustaches, horn rimmed glasses, and greatcoats as well as sheets of white paper, instructing both to hold the white paper in their right hands while repeating endlessly, and turning to the right ninety degrees, "Peace in Our Time. Peace in Our Time."
Give us a Hillary / Obama ticket to run against... please!
That would be... in no particular order:
A demographic nightmare
A political disaster
A 'match' made in the warmer regions of the afterlife.
...and it would kill both off for 2012.
BTW:
How do you think Hillary would like him as VP... him being more loved and all that?
If he is VP how well do you think all his fawning Obamaites would take that?
If on the other hand if you were Obama, how would you like Hillary serving 'behind you'? Anyone remember how the last 'Camelot' ended? Think Obama remembers? Yep, faster than you can say 'Fort Marcy Park'
I don't thin that ticket will ever happen, but I hope that it does
Wait a minute...
That wasn't a pairing either. Never mind.

And now we'll be treated to not only an ugly battle between two "friends" (I'm trying to keep a straight face), but we'll also see the true depth of Mrs. Clinton's real persona and experience, which is a sense of entitlement and her expertise at surrounding herself with the "Apostles of Gutter Politics" i.e. Ickes, Williams, McAulliffe and the rest of the clowns that were mainstays of her husbands circle. Yeah, she has experience alright; unfortunately, the Clintons lack of experience in administrative areas (i.e. tax returns, WH papers, billing records, donor records, cattle future transactions, WJC Foundation donors), are legendary, and will leave the MSM and the public in the dark.
