Note by Jeff: In the above clip, I ask Sen. McCain whether Gen. Petraeus's testimony this fall has any chance of changing minds on the Hill, and whether the Iraq effort is important enough to him to, if he thinks it will make a difference, take time off from the campaign trail to lead on this issue in the Senate.
In my opinion, he fielded both very, very well.
