There Is No Revenge Like Petty Political Revenge

This is instructive reading for those who believe that Hillary Clinton has learned anything from her health care reform debacle in 1994. Given the complete failure of her efforts to demonize Jim Cooper, one would think that she would have reached out to him a long time ago to repair the damage that her demonization efforts caused. Instead, Clinton continues to do her best to ostracize Cooper and obviously, she continues to hold a grudge against him for having the temerity to offer his own health care plan.
If memory serves--and I believe it does--the Bush Administration regularly gets attacked for its supposed "my way or the highway" approach. Just out of curiosity, how is Hillary Clinton's behavior on this issue any different?

to holding Hillary up as an example. Neither Clinton is worthy of comparison to any Republican I know.
that stands out in the article to me, is the utter shock I feel at Hillary concocting a "conspiracy theory" against an opponent of hers... (please note extreme sarcasm)
The ONLY way HRD can ever argue a point against an opponent is to yell and scream "evil righ-wing conspirator" or build a smear campaign against him/her.
Of course Hillary feels "my way or the high way". She feels that she gave EVERYTHING up for her husband and now the entire country owes her....she is entitled. Billy put Hillary on health care to make her feel important, he was humiliated with what happened so he sent her a$$ on a tour around the country.
Her feelings of entitlement infuriate me, and her thoughts FORCING HER plans down our throats....errrr.
For once....I actually almost LIKE the NY Times as I am so glad they have turned against her for a little while anyway (and yes, I threw up in my mouth a little bit just now from saying that).

great word Pejman, I will have to get to dictionary.com and look that one up.
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor
We'll crush you" she said, so much for her political acumen.
Hate doesn't die hard with Hillary, it never dies.

Jim Cooper is my congressman - at least by district. I've had exchanges with him regarding issues & find him to have a bit of an independent streak.
The inability to "get over" or handle past slights & such is a debilitating thing.

Most of the progressive Dems realize Hillary is GWB lite.
The sleazy triangulating DLCers and the boomers that can't bring themselves to admit how badly they've screwed this country up are the ones who love Hillary.
