In light of this latest, rather brazen threat:
...please be advised that any future uses of the phrase "unitary executive" by you or any Edwards campaign staffer (or, indeed any Edwards supporter at all) will be met with gales of sarcastic, mocking laughter.
Thank you. You may now continue along your regular business of losing the Democratic primary to Senator Hillary Clinton.
Signed,
The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy
[UPDATE]: Tapped would rather like to get off of this bus, too - alas, Garance Franke-Ruta's own commenters aren't inclined to let her. Meanwhile, the Clinton campaign has already begun pushing the knife in further. I don't know what's more impressive: the speed by which it was done, or that they didn't try to blame the whole thing on us. The latter makes for a refreshing change.

Edwards has been fraudulenting for quite a while.
"No compromise with the main purpose, no peace till victory, no pact with unrepentant wrong." - Winston Churchill
This guy Edwards is actually the worst Dem. candidate for president. And that says a lot.
At least they provide comedic relief.
Edwards just has a hint of "seriousness" that makes him a tad bit legitimate.
Although, one part of his statement was 100% true. The part that said, "I'm going to take from you..."
Get used to those words if a Dem is elected.
I disagree.
Democrats are all about saying "I'm going to take from someone else so that you can have________________."
Remember, unless they are putting everyone against one another and telling each side the other is to blame, they don't win elections.

Am I the only one who has a long enough memory here to be joyed by the sight of lefties acknowledging the validity of the 27th Amendment?

I don't why, but Edwards makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up--and I'm a Democrat! I don't know what it is about him (maybe someone here can enlighten me), but I, personally, find him to be the most dislikeable candidate in the entire presidential race. I mean, I can't even stand to listen to him talk--he just sounds so fake to me. In 2004, he was running as a centrist, and now he's running as some far leftist. Not to mention, I think that his position on Iraq is utterly irresponsible. Anyway, this is just my two cents. Y'all have a good night and God bless. :-)
Don't get me wrong: from what I've read about her positions, I'd almost certainly despise her as a candidate. But I believe her sincerity much more than I do her husband.

Why is this fool not back in a courtroom fraudulenting suing doctors using junk science and stupid juries?
It's probably the only place he has a chance of winning.
I don't think he'd win any elected office in North Carolina; California or New York maybe, but not in the South.
Actually scratch that, he could get elected President of his Family Meetings, IF he can get passed Elizabeth in the Edwards Family Caucuses.
