What lovely supporters you have, Senator Obama.

You must be proud.

Here's one of your most influential bloggers (you can find the link via Hot Air):

It's pretty bad when your hair is whiter than your teeth.

And here's why your opponent has discolored teeth:

"In 1968 he was offered early release, and when he refused, because others had been there longer, his captors went at him again; he suffered cracked ribs, teeth broken off at the gum line, and torture with ropes that lashed his arms behind his back and that were progressively tightened all through the night." Source Vanity Fair, February 2007

"He spent two years in solitary confinement, suffered from dysentery and even tried to commit suicide by hanging himself with his own shirt.

In 1968, the Vietnamese broke off many of his teeth at the gum and tortured him for hours on end. They offered him early release, knowing his value as an admirals son, but he refused, saying others had been held captive longer." Source Daily Mail, February 1, 2008

Two things, Senator Obama:

1). How much money did you troll from dKos, again?

2). If you liked this tactic - and until you say otherwise, I'm going to assume that you do - have you considered going after Senator McCain's inability to move his arms properly? After all, the North Vietnamese were kind enough to systematically torture those, too.

UPDATE (Dan McLaughlin): Oh, and a third question: have you considered that maybe there are reasons why your faction of the party lives in constant fear of having its patriotism questioned?

Hold on there just a gol-dang minute. Yes that post was mean and stupid. But there are maybe a handful that are snickering over this dumb post. Compared to over 1,000 commenters calling Kos out for it.
It's the way progressives police themselves. Want to see what they think? Read the comments.

an important or influential figure, then.

Anyone there who remains there to post has no shame, or sees no shame in siding with terrorists against innocent Americans.

But go on, defend Daily Kos. That just marks you for what side you're on.

It's no joke. The Kossacks spent the whole damn day griping about how inappropriate the teeth thing was. You can call out Kos for it, but the Kossacks beat you to it. Personally, I think it's a waste of time to talk about stuff like teeth. There's much more substantive arguments to be made. Although, in truth, I don't think the post was so much about McCain's teeth as it was his campaign's amateurish branding strategies. McCain can't help it if his teeth aren't white. His people could certainly make them look a little nicer on the web site, though, couldn't they?

...cheap cigar, beat-up car, nice guitar.....

because that would be disingenous and unlike the left McCain IS running a honest campaign....as well Senator McCain could give a crap less what he looks like he is more focused on the issue's....it's not a beauty show don't you know....or did you think it was?

Freedom of Religion NOT Freedom from Religion

Post is still up there. It is still there to appeal to that segment of the population. The fact that a few Kossacks disliked hardly mitigates the site effectively promoting the post.

By contrast look what happens to truly repulsive and inappropriate material here. There is a giant gap between mouthing principles and living by them.

This soon would be pulled down and denied if such didn't exist. Not that I understand how it works, mind you.

I learned, after many years of the same attitude.

1. Hit the "Print Screen" button on your PC. (If you have a Mac, I can't help you, but if Mac users are to be believed, if you have a Mac there is nothing you don't already know).

2. Open "Paint" from your list of programs.

3. Hit "Paste" or CTRL-V.

4. Viola! You have a screen grab. In Paint, you can then Save As to save as different kinds of files (I prefer JPEGs, which take up less space), expand/contract the image, cut part of it, etc.

On the Mac you just hit command-shift-3, and voila! You have a .png file on your desktop. If you want to capture a specific part of the screen, you hit command-shift-4, and it turns your mouse into a little picture-cropping cross-hair thingy.

minutes in the ring with him. I learned a few moves as a correction's officer that would come in handy. Little piss ant!

You can't question the patriotism of The Mighty Kos!

At a rate of 6,000 earmarks per spending bill, Speaker Pelosi is selling America's future to the special intrest groups.

The questions about his sanity and maturity, though, remain unsettled.

patriotism to his wife. Guess she spent too much time with Ayers and Wright.

With Obama's kind of patriotism who needs enemy emboldening dem libs.

Oh yeah, he is a dem lib.

He's going to heal the sick, feed the poor, and maybe have the willpower to quit smoking some day. But then again, when your married to Aunt Esther, it'd be hard for anyone to quit smoking.

Kofi Anan is the splitting image of Grady.

"Nothing works like freedom, Nothing succeeds like liberty"

He's too busy pacing and chain-smoking while he tries to figure out a nice way to tell Michelle why she can't be his VP nominee.

he has brought the conservatives to forgive, or think of forgiving, Hillary. He is uniting them around John McCain. He is forcing self-criticism on Kos!

Whatever next? The man is a god, I say!

I don't get this one. It's an attack on a Obama via a blogger who is insulting McCain? I don't think that either canidate would resort to such insults on eachothers character or appearance. It's easy to raise the retoric when you're anonymous. Perhaps we should be bigger than that here?

Stoli's comment seems to be a nice touch of common sense. Critcizing Obama because some moonbat on Kos said something insultingly stupid is really just silly. I have been a lurker for a long time and have come to expect better from Redstate as a whole. Your needlessly snarky reply really kind of looks like Stoli struck a nerve. I have read enough of your stuff to expect better from you Moe.

Bye, Nove/broony!
