Thanks for the lesson, but if you are so averse to tax cuts to keep friends in the media and with blue state pols, then you have an uphill battle in these debates. Prove to me by at least mentioning the tax cuts.

Romney thinks he can reverse major economic realignments that have permanently shifted some industries fro Michigan.

These first answers kind of suck. Romney's was not that good. McCain on job changes was good, but then he went on the spending filibuster.
Funny that he didn't seem so concerned about raising prices on all goods on the shelf when he went around and raised fuel taxes.
The one that was passed by the legislature that he signed. The one that when the bond issues went on the ballot, he expressly told the voters was not part of the ballot measure. This is not a tax increase, he told people.

He had good approaches to job growth. And he had the right sort of thinking-there is no reason that those industries can't come back to Michigan (or anywhere else) if the right approaches are taken.

If you don't let disdain to get in the way of analysis, you can see that McCain has helped popularize a lot of pork projects. I do wish he'd return to his line about "vetoing pork bills and making the porkers known in every household."
Coburn is the #1 anti-porker. But McCain and DeMint are the next rung.
McCain voted against the Medicare Part D because of its overspending.
And he was the only Senator or Representative to call the Transportation Bill "pork" on the floor. He's been out in front fighting against Big Government.
