Victory Caucus Relaunches at Critical Moment

N.Z. Bear has substantially overhauled the Victory Caucus website, making it a "one-stop shop for anyone who wants to understand what is going on in Iraq." I got a sneak peak over the weekend and have to say that I'm impressed with the quality of the newly designed site as well as the quantity of information available.

I've had the opportunity to work with N.Z. on several projects, so I was already a big fan of his work. But of everything he's done -- from Porkbusters to Fairness Doctrine Watch -- this is clearly the most important project he's undertaken.

It also comes at an important time. With members of Congress and the American public losing patience with the fight against terrorism in Iraq, N.Z. is providing critical information. The new version of Victory Caucus includes aggregation of official sources such as the Multi-National Force in Iraq, Centcom and the Pentagon as well as bloggers Michael Totten, Bill Roggio and Blackfive. I'm told N.Z. will also be adding RedState's Jeff Emanuel, who leaves for Iraq Thursday, and will be embedded by August 8.

The coolest part of the Victory Caucus site is a mapping and charting package that presents information, such as this map of major operations, in an interesting and visually appealing way.
