I just answered the first question of this editorial:
Has Jimmy Carter gone off the deep end? He's now scolding the West for refusing to bankroll Hamas terrorists who've just seized power at gunpoint in Gaza. It's a new low in coddling terrorism.
As the Gaza Strip flamed into Hamas gang warfare and the West Bank slid into another civil war, Carter -- cozy in distant Ireland accepting another "human rights" award -- found cause Tuesday to blame America first for all the violence.
Amid wine, cheese and good feeling, America's worst ex-president drew a bead on the West. The refusal by the U.S., Israel and the EU to support Hamas, an armed terror group that just launched a coup d'etat and civil war in full view of the world, was nothing but a "criminal" act at the root of the trouble there, Carter asserted.
"The United States and Israel decided to punish all the people in Palestine and did everything they could to deter a compromise between Hamas and Fatah," he said.
The statement was so malevolent and illogical as to border on insane. Carter wasn't honest enough to say he was rooting for terrorists who started a terrifying new war in the region and trashed what little democratic rule the Palestinians had. Instead, he tut-tutted the West for being insufficiently sensitive to the fact that Hamas thugs were democratically elected in 2006 in an "orderly and fair" vote.
When one party has started a civil war, democracy isn't exactly the issue anymore. Just being elected does not justify making warfare on your fellow citizens. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice repeatedly points out that those who are elected democratically have an obligation to govern democratically or they aren't democrats. Hamas has blown its right to democracy.
You would think these points to be so obvious that they would not require repetition. Alas, you would be wrong.

Not much more I can say without have Moe slap me with the "stick". But Jimmy Carter is sad and pathetic to say the least.
When they see the insane uncle in the street rolling in his own excrement:
"Bless his heart."
HANDS DOWN!!!
“.....women and minorities hardest hit”
People don't want to be harsh and call an ex-president insane.
Maybe he's not. But then illogical also doesn't cover his statements. So then we are we are left with he's rooting for the terrorists. He wants us to support Hamas.
Could he please just build houses where his efforts are really helping and legitimately appreciated? I'm just trying to be kind.

So, pick one: lock him up in a place with a jacket with very long arms and soft rubber walls OR lock him up in Leavenworth and try him for treason.
I prefer the former.

In truth, I recall those pathetic Carter years. Since we can't do anything to this former president, I just would someone could "Get the Hook." Somehow.

Carter proves ignoring your doctors warning about having peanut allergies can be hazardous to your mental health.
Ask not what you can do for your country, ask what your country can do for you. Washington Elected Elite
It's senile dementia. It happens to a lot of older people and we shouldn't call such attention to it. He just needs some pills and a nice home to stay in until he can walk through the pearly gates.
And since Glory is such a great place to be, I hope he gets to go soon.
I meant what I said and I said what I meant. An elephant's faithful 100 percent.
He's been suffering from it for at least 30 years.

He's been 'round the bend since before he was elected in '76. Just had the sense to hide it better, back then.
when all he did was certify any "elections" of dictators as being fair and open.
Not really, but geez the man is off his rocker.
Go Dawgs, Sic em' Woof Woof
Whoever certified him as competent to serve on a nuke sub, he's the one who's insane. Carter always did have a bug in his keister about America and our way of life. "Too cold? Put on a sweater." No testes to smack down OPEC; just inflate the American dollar and laugh while the people suffer. Typical proto-commie.
He must be right. After all, why else would the Irish government donate 6000,000 (pounds, dollas, euros od what?) to his foundation.
After all, how can you prove you're superior to the herd if you don't go out of the way to disagree with them. It's the anti-"Conventional Wisdom" thing, the isolated but wise & knowing, brave individual who dares dissent, the hero in his own mind, who takes pity on us, fools that we are, for our failure to see and think deeply.
He understands, the herd doesn't. In Carter's case this goes back to at least his idiotic "inordinate fear of Communism" blurb, just before the not to be feared Soviets invaded Afghanistan.
It's a thread that runs through liberalism[?] manifested at large by the self congratulatory, self named, Reality Based Community, people who in their intelligence and sophistication really know what's going on, just like Carter does !
"a man's admiration for absolute government is proportinate to the contempt he feels for those around him". Tocqueville
...he's just getting worse!
Sorry to say it but Carter is plainly an antisemite. Simple as that. He's not insane, he's not crazy, demented or even irrational. He's a plain old run-of-the-mill Jew hater.
Does this really surprise anyone?
Jimmy Carter has acheived a rare trifecta; Worse President of the 20th Century, worse ex-president of the 20th century, and worse ex-president of the 21st Century.
Al Dem Al Krati
Since they are in alliance they should form a new party. Thus the name........

whatever current administration should boycott his funeral. This bitter old man is a blight on freedom loving people everywhere. Yeech.
