Here we have two congressmen. Both have had a problem with a sex related issue. One was arrested. One was not. One was promoted to the Appropriations Committee. One was forced to resign. Can you guess who's who?

Gee John Boehner, way to stand up for ethics!

supporters were better organized to get a vote in on the poll. Wish I had a nickel for every email I've ever gotten urging me to vote early and often in some online poll.
In Vino Veritas
As I said over in the Fox vs. MSNBC thread to this "conservativeNY" person (who just joined 6 hours ago, to spam the threads with his Ron Paul won the poll stuff), it wasn't even his supporters - it was liberal Democrats who always have the time to sit around and log on to these online polls and text message in votes.
It means absolutely nothing, as Michael Steele said in the post-debate commentary, and for good reason. Conservatives don't waste their time sending in meaningless text messages and fretting about the outcome. Liberals do.
I hope you are right about it not meaning anything. Time will tell.
that "real change requires real change"! We cannot rely on those who are currently and comfortably in DC to make the changes necessary in that DC culture. WE have to enact the changes. You know, I have always abided by one principle of management to guide me when I didnt get positive results. Now, I am just a lowly old restaurant owner but this has helped me in many avenues of my business and when it all boils down, management is management. I like this principle which runs along the lines of Newt's thinking; "Change your people or change your people."
That is precisely what it will take. John Boehner is one of THEM and we need to change all of THEM! Republicans and Democrats, Liberals and Conservatives, there are a bunch of yahoos who need the boot in DC!
They dont listen to us. They havent been doing our work for a long time. DC has been a place for self-servants not the People's servants.
Good people are few and far between in DC. Either side that talks about a "culture of corruption" is right on the money. And ya know, I dont always like to quote Limbaugh, so I'll paraphrase. He has always said that when you want to know what a corrupt politician is doing simply look at what they accusing the other side of doing.
RedState needs to continue its War on the GOP and we need a roll call/list of those who have not been towing the Peoples line and they need to go, ALL OF THEM!
I understand why many/most on RedState dont want Paul as Prez. Heck, Im more hawkish than him myself, even though Im supporting him in the primary.
But, wouldnt it to be great to have him as the top GOPer on the Appropriations Committee? If/when the GOP wins back the house, have him as chairman? Try to get earmarks thru with Dr No running the show.
If the GOP was serious about being the party of small government, this would do it.

Did anyone see that Jon Paul was leading the FOX straw poll with 30% of the vote!
This worries me. If even Fox news viewers (the majority are republican/conservative) voted to Ron Paul after that debate does this mean the big candidates have totally miss read the war? and by supporting it so strongly are winning the far right but losing the majority of americans?
