Vandals strike at Rogers' local office

Vandals struck U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers' Lansing offices Monday night, slopping paint on the building, spray-painting slogans on the sidewalk and putting glue in the front door lock.

Blood-red paint was smeared on a sign on the front of the building, which displayed the congressman's name. The paint also had been thrown on a "Support our Troops" banner.

I would just like to congratulate the parents of whatever winners did this: you've done a marvelous job in raising absolute wastes of complex carbon compounds. Take a bow - and, by all means, have that vasectomy. Future generations will thank you for your decision to finally stop peeing in the gene pool. And, of course, I'd like to congratulate the aforementioned winners. Nietzsche would be amazed. You've not only fought the dragon for long enough; you've fought one that doesn't even bloody exist.

PS: I certainly hope that this offended any random members of the antiwar movement reading this. With any luck the shock will help them feel other currently-alien emotions, such as embarrassment, guilt and shame.
