Ho, Netrooters!

Do you have any messages for your Congressmen?

We'll be seeing them before you do.

PS: And... right. We have to wait for our lurkers to first look this reference up. Google marius teutons messages wives.

(pause)

OK, up to speed? Excellent. As I was about to say... and no, none of you have the skills needed to play the Marius role.

The one thing off the table in Iraq is defeat.

P.S. More like Dems doing a McClellan.

... is the wailing and gnashing of teeth in the comments after the article.

Ah, the wailing of the Reality Based Community™ will sing me to sleep this evening...

Diplomacy is the art of saying 'Nice doggie' until you can find a rock.

It's a pandemic of BDS over there. I actually started giggling, reading them.

You may not be interested in war, but war is interested in you.

Why cater to trolls? I don't get it...

The vagaries of demonstrative pronouns seem to be lost on MY audience.

It's victory, that is the exit plan for Iraq, total victory. The stakes are way too high to settle for anything else -- All it takes is one Gen Petraeus to point the way.

I have to ask, how many troops had to die for the Democrats political intransigence. Life is not all about winning elections, many times it's about doing what is right for your country -- Surrendering to global terrorism is not what is right.

That's why it's called a Global War On Terror -- It's global and Iraq is just one battleground in that war. And by the way, the "fly paper strategy", it works.

PS: Note to Democrats, betting against the US military is a really bad idea.

So where pray tell did all the meddlsome neocons come from?

He might have to cancel the Nazi salute.

In the reports I've read the word "surge", success or failure of same, has not been mentioned. A puzzle don't you think?

"a man's admiration for absolute government is proportinate to the contempt he feels for those around him". Tocqueville

How is it that we did not see this coming? Any party that would surrender and retreat in Iraq would surrender and retreat in Washington.

Here's an idea: let's re-deploy the House Democrats to the Library of Congress. If we need them, they'll be right across the street, ready to parachute in on a moment's notice in case any taxes have to be raised.

I think we should begin withdrawing Democrats from Congress immediately, with a goal (a timetable can come later) of having them all out by November, 2008.

They won the House by running center or center right candidates in conservative districts. Now they cry their eyes out because these guys don't follow them over the far left cliff. If they do they'll be one term wonders.
