We've been fortunate at RedState over the past year to grow our email list. We have turned it into a call to action -- blasting emails out as needed encouraging people to take action on issues.
Just the other day we sent out an email encouraging people to call various reporters who were misrepresenting what John McCain said about Iraq.
A few months ago, our readers tied up phone lines on Capitol Hill when Nancy Pelosi tried to bring SCHIP back for a vote.
It is a way to take our online collaboration offline and to really have an impact on policy and politics.
