Heading To The New Year

As RedState continues to grow, I wanted to fill you all in on a few new additions.
First, as we announced last week, Mark I, Blackhedd, and JSteele have accepted our invitations to be front page contributors. At the time, we also invited Haystack and MartinAKnight aboard, but they apparently aren't as addicted to email as the other three and took their time in responding.
We're pleased to announce that both Haystack and MartinAKnight are now on board. Being the last to accept his invite, MartinAKnight will now hold the door open for us and other menial tasks until we bring on someone newer. Of course I didn't tell him that when he was invited. Being the newest newbie is like being the newest Supreme Court Justice. [Martin, I like my coffee will milk, not cream. I'm from Louisiana.]
Also, you all know about our sale to Eagle Publishing, Inc. In the past, we've used the terminology "Directors" and we will probably continue to do so. Being our own entity, the "Directors" had a particular meaning. We will continue to use that platform to offer site positions and editorials that necessitate greater weight than one individual's voice. The directors (Ben, Clayton, Mike, and me) remain. I'm pleased to announce that Thomas Crown and Jeff Emanuel have been given the ultimate RedState promtion too. So, now if you want to complain, you have two more of us to complain to!
We're all excited by what's going on at RedState and look forward to playing a big role in building the grassroots for 2008. Thanks for your continued participation and Happy New Year!

Since you're not corporate directors anymore, I suggest you rename yourselves the Jedi Council. Then all get pictures of yourselves processed up to look like they're holographic projections, and use them on all your posts.
Of course, the ubiquitous use of the title Master would surely be fun, too.
