Scarborough Begging Reporters Not To Report His Comments

Joe Scarborough and Craig Crawford are feeling the heat over their suggestion that Fred Thompson's wife "works the pole."

Two unrelated, but very solid sources tell me, that in addition to lots of phone calls to their offices complaining about the statement, Scarborough is calling friends of his in the media begging them not to run anything on the story.

Hilarious how the media will protect each other, even when one goes so far as to bash a candidate's wife.

By the way, MSNBC's phone number is (201) 583-5000. You can reach Congressional Quarterly at (202) 419-8500. You probably ought to keep calling.

Scarburough missed an outstanding opportunity to sip his soup cooler. I'm glad he isn't able to beg people not to run this.

a badge of honor..." . I'd just as soon let them make comments like that. Most reasonable people will be turned off by them and, consequently, turned off by any candidate those yahoos support. Besides, we wouldn't want to censor free speech would we?

"I guess I'm supposed to apologize for having a beautiful wife."

We've traded our National Sovereignty for cheap roofing and yardwork.
