Where is Laura Ingraham?

It should not go unnoticed that one of the nation's most popular radio hosts is off the air.
What happened? No one is talking. What I do know is that Laura wants to be back on the air. She does not want to be off the air.
You guys always kind of chuckle when Rush or anyone else talks about liberals wanting to shut down talk radio. Well, Laura Ingraham has been pulled off the air.
The longer she is off the air, the more likely it is the stations could replace the programming altogether. That would be bad.
Here's a state by state guide for Laura Ingraham's show. Please call your local station and tell the station you want Laura back on the air.
Remember, if this can happen to Laura Ingraham, it certainly can happen to any other conservative talk radio host. The left is already agitating about sweeping media reforms to shut conservatives out.
Let's speak up for Laura since she cannot speak up for herself right now. Call your local station.

My guess is that she's in contract talks -- with her current syndicator, a different one, or both -- and has been precluded from discussing it (or, at least, advised not to).
Laura's show has been tremendously successful and she hasn't really gotten her payday yet, AFAIK. I seriously doubt that it's going anywhere.
K-Lo at NRO mentioned it, but left it as mysterious. I didn't see The Factor.
She was on O'Reilly, as she frequently is, and talked (he asked) about her talk-radio silence — she's been off the air for 9 days. I've been hearing from readers wondering if she's transitioning to TV. Although she is starting a show on FNC Monday, no, she has no desire to move to TV. She loves her radio audience and I know I'm not the only one looking forward to her return to the airwaves. It's a great mix of culture and politics and the feminine touch. Hear you soon, Laura!

She also mentioned that she starts a new segment on Fox tonight(every Friday)...1 hour long, 5:00 Central time

She didn't give any specifics, but she did let Bill muse that it has something to do with the business side of things rather than the content of her work. She actually was picked up by Fox to host a new show, called "All In" in the 5pm time slot.
There is all kinds of guessing going on, no facts. Certainly if she were booted, she would be talking.
I think the alert is pre-mature at a minimum.
She can't discuss the matter. When we have facts, then action might be appropriate. To assume the all-powerful left has had something to do with it is paranoia.

which seems to indicate it is a contract negotiation tactic. I searched because I thought it odd that this was linked to some liberal conspiracy to get rid of conservatives on radio and thought I would at least leave the link for info purposes.

Thanks, Erick. Have sent this list to all my progressive friends, encouraging them to call the stations and congratulate them for taking her off the air. Racist hate speech may be legal, but it ain't right--and these stations need to understand that it won't sell laundry detergent either. Big change a comin'--time for the dinosaurs to go back under their rocks.
Have you ever listened to her show, or are you just assuming its full of racist hate speech because she is a sucessful conservative, and you arn't?
Please point out, with specific references, where she engaged in racism or hate speech.
If you do not point out instances, or if you do not give specific references to actual transcripts, you are lying and, in fact, YOU are engaging in libel and hate speech in your act of discrimination against and sliming of a conservative woman who has overcome incredible hurdles to be a very successful talk show radio host.

Ingraham: I Didn't Walk Out
LAURA INGRAHAM speaks again on her absence from her TALK RADIO NETWORK show, and she's angry, telling visitors to her website, "Reports are circulating in the press that I 'took a leave of absence' or walked out on my radio show. As I wrote in this space earlier this week, that is false. Liberals have controlled the media for decades. It took people like Limbaugh, Reagan & Ingraham to get people to wake up to it.
Savage is an idiot and Coulter is just a conservative "shock jock". Olbermann definitely fits into this camp. I'd say he should go back to sports, but I never really liked him much there either. The only good thing you can say about that was at least he knew what he was talking about.

But I was just using Bill'o as an example of "crazy". You seemed to be having trouble understanding the meaning of the word, in the context I was using it, so I tried to use a different subject matter with the same traits.

I saw her on O'Reilly as well. I'm really looking forward to the hour long show on Fox. It will be leading up to my all time favorite - Brit Hume. Two hours of good old intravenous politics. Life is good.
I meant what I said and I said what I meant. An elephant's faithful 100 percent.
I called TRN (Talk Radio Network) yesterday and talked to a receptionist (?). I questioned her about Laura not being on the air, and that it certainly tarnished their brand name. The dead silence on the reaons, etc. She assured me that Laura would be back on the air by the end of the month, if not sooner. Didn't leave any room for more questioning.

I wasn't aware she had been "taken off" until I saw the website. Monica Crowley has been filling in the past couple of weeks saying Laura would "be back."
It's good to know. I rarely watch TV (though I may tune in to her new show), and Laura's has been the only radio talk show I listen to regularly. I'm not much of a fan of any of the others, although Michael Medved has had some hilarious callers from the left.

I can't offer any insight, but from what I saw last night, confidentiality restricted her from commenting on any specifics, despite O'Reilly trying to pry it out of her, but she seemed quite confident she'd be back on the air soon. They did say she would be on Fox, starting Monday, at 5 PM; and then O'Reilly alluded to her being on TV and radio, and she agreed. Not sure that adds much to the mystery, but that was last night.
