To which I contribute without saying a word further.

Glenn Reynolds has put together the first part of a Blog Symposium on Iraq. It's interesting, and I recommend checking it out and clicking the links.
You will, by now, have noticed that comments are not enabled on this story*; this is deliberate (I'll also be closing - without prejudice - the comments to any regular blog post that tries to take up the slack). This is to remind people that on 11/08/2006 the luxury of merely talking about this situation went away for everyone. The prowar side no longer has the legislative cover necessary for a long term approach in Iraq; the antiwar side now has to put up, or shut up**. Either way, the time has come for things to be done. Navel-gazing ain't going to cut it.
So go out there and do something. And if you haven't thought this far ahead - particularly if you're a Democrat who hasn't thought this far ahead - well, get to it, already.

*[Update] Although you may certainly peruse and participate in the debate to be found here.
**And for the latter: not to be geeky about it, but it really is now a case of "Do - or do not. There is no try." And the price of failure will be paid for by other people's blood.
Not that I want to put any pressure on you, or anything.
