Does Tony Snow feel any guilt in leaving Fox for the White House, thereby causing the American public to be subjected to "Brian and the Judge"?

We ask him in the next edition of RedState Radio. Be sure to set your RSS Reader or podcasting program. Tony Snow's chat with RedState will be available by 6 a.m. tomorrow.

Oh, and if you're from Fox, Tony and I both speak highly of Kilmeade.

on XM. I was a huge fan of Tony Snow's show, and it was great to listen to Tony as the speculation started swirling. Judge Napolitano had subbed for a few people at times, and he did for Tony during that period. He had Brian in as well.

Brian's a Yankee fan. I have Brian's book. He's a great morning show host, and both he and Naplitano are good radio hosts.

Tony was the insider. Tony knew everyone and had heard all the rumors and buzz, and he was so personable. I do miss him on the radio... but that being said...

My secular loyalty to my country is much stronger than that to my radio. I'm glad he took the job he has.

and i'm guilty of that assessment no more. used to think he was just the happy, go lucky sports guy on fox news taking up a co-anchor seat until i watched his interview w/ seantor levin a few months ago.
senator levin obviously thought the same thing and pretty much treated brian accordingly, but brian would have none of it. he asked the senator tough questions and followed up at every attempt by the senator to dodge them.
brian definitely came off as prepared, knowledgeable and could take the flack from the senator without it affecting his interview. if anyone looked not worthy of their job, it was the senator.

I have long liked Snow, and I think he is great as the press secretary-I wish they had ditched McClellan sooner and gone with Snow.

Snow may step in the doo doo on occassion, but he just cleans his shoes off and keeps on firing away.

Snow was great on the radio and on the Sunday show, but I wonder if he's backed down on some of his comments which were fairly critical of the President.

Snow was all over the President on his illegal immigration stance, I forget what he said about the war in Iraq, but it was not exactly the party line.

I sometimes wonder if the President has ended up with being surrounded by advisers who don't always speak their mind in private, even when it's counter to the President's thinking. Tony Snow sort of kind of indicated when he was on the air with his show that he thought that was the case and I seem to recall that one of his demands on taking the job was a place at the table to argue other points of view to the President.
