Power to the People

ImageIn conservative talk radio, there are three big names, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Laura Ingraham. We've done a podcast with Rush and today it's my pleasure to present a podcast with Laura Ingraham.

Laura has a new book out, Power to the People.

In the book, Laura articulately makes the case that we have the power to change the country and, in the process, takes on a lot of liberal conventional wisdom.

Frankly, I'd encourage you to read the book if only because of Chapter 9. Titled "Blinding Us With Science," Laura gives perhaps the best, most understandable breakdown of liberal lies about the conservative position on stem cell research. It's stuff I knew, but have never read such easily understandable explanations.

I talked to Laura Ingraham yesterday. She's out on the road promoting her book.

You can hear the whole interview here.

Frankly, Michael Medved's radio program is the most useful to conservatives because his all honest debate with liberals. He is by far the best debator and I learn the most from him.

Hannity and Ingraham rarely have opposing view callers, and when they do it usually ends up talking in platitudes and it ends quickly. Rush doesn't have many dissenters on his program but he is the most entertaining and information I'd say except for Michael Medved.

It is true that he is a good debater, and that he has opposing people on his show, but often they are of the kook/nut variety and I see no real value in that. Also, he can be pedantic and intolerant himself at times.

His show is interesting, but not as good as Hugh Hewitt, and I even think Laura Ingram has an often more informative show.

What about Michael Savage? Doesn't have the number 3 ranked talk show, ahead of Ingraham?
