RedState Radio: Sam Brownback (R-KS)

ImageWill Senator Sam Brownback from Kansas run for President in 2008? He tells RedState that he and his wife have discussed it and he is thinking about it. He also tells RedState that he's been making the tour of early primary states, talking to voters, and "testing the message."

Senator Brownback also tells RedState that he thinks the House will pass legislation to secure the border, but the Democrats will block it in the Senate. Senator Brownback talked with RedState earlier today about these issues, Iran, the War on Terror, and the general pessimism about the state of American culture that voters express to him back home and around the nation.

When you open up an exploratory PAC, please be sure and let us know.

Brownback is one of the biggest backers of amnesty for illegal aliens in the Senate. He'll do as a Senator until someone better comes along but dead in the water as Presidential candidate.

Good grief, I about lost my lunch at the "he thinks the Democrats will block" border security legislation. With Republicans like Brownback giving them cover, the open border Democrats are on easy street. Is he that big of a hypocrite that he wants to blame the Democrats for the borders?

Yech.
