"Dictator":

President Hugo Chavez said Sunday that foreigners who publicly criticize him or his government while visiting Venezuela will be expelled from the country.

Chavez ordered officials to closely monitor statements made by international figures during their visits to Venezuela - and deport any outspoken critics.

``How long are we going to allow a person - from any country in the world - to come to our own house to say there's a dictatorship here, that the president is a tyrant, and nobody does anything about it?'' Chavez asked during his weekly television and radio program.

You know, there were plenty of people willing and eager either to make excuses for Chavez's brand of dictatorship--all the while claiming that there were oodles of good things in Venezuela that somehow excused his infringements on personal liberty--or were willing to turn a blind eye to Chavez's tyrannical tendencies, convinced that those tendencies wouldn't be permanent.

Wonder what they have to say now.

Well what if I go down there and just say something like,"Hey,Hugey baby,you're a righteous dude,but your momma rode shotgun on the garbage truck."....guess that would be okay,huh?

....in just six easy steps!
( From politicaldarwinism.blogspot.com )

Step 1: Align yourself with like minded authoritarians
Step 2: Destroy any independent judiciary
Step 3: Nationalize major industries
Step 4: Censor the opposition
Step 5: Create a national political party with complete dominance and unwavering loyalty to you
Step 6: Declare yourself dictator for life!

Rather simple, no?

is that the left wing dictators get love and adoration from Hollywood people and the New York Times. It also takes them far less time to screw up the economy.

Well, the right-wing dictator strategy requires a slight change. Rightist usually prefer to be less international than the their left-wing counterparts. Plus leftists are under no obligation to cozy up to the military.

It's all a matter of taste, I suppose
