Meet the Press (NBC): Tim Russert has another of his roundtables of babble, this with Bob Shrum & James Carville, and Mary Matalin & Mike Murphy.

FOX News Sunday (FNS): Host Chris Wallace chats with Ed Gillespie, now a Bushie ("counselor to the president").

Face the Nation (CBS): Host Bob Schieffer talks to Presidential candidate Joe Biden & Lindsey Graham, then spends some quality time with Katie Couric.

This Week (ABC): Host George Stephanopoulos talks to Senators John Ensign (R-Nevada) and Chuckie Schumer (D-New York),

Late Edition (CNN): Host Wolf Blitzer interviews Senator Richard Shelby (R-Alabama), Representative Kendrick Meek (D-Florida), former Clinton (Bill) hatchet dude Lanny Davis and former RNC lawyer Ben Ginsberg.

I assume it was all in the name of good taste that we were spared a sit-down with Larry Craig. That Russert roundtable will be interest for Bob Shrum alone. He sure knows his stuff, and his name alone could one day win an election. Maybe in Moldova, where they are not wise to him. Matalin's a Fred gal, and Murphy used to do media stuff for Romney. (McCain before that, but I suspect he's more a Mitt guy.)

Ed Gillespie's a sharp guy, and wasn't he a student of Larry Sabato? He puts me in mind of Reggie the Registration Rig, an idea I liked, but now he's in the Bush White House.

Biden and Graham are time-killers, as is Schumer. Ensign is most notable of late for being a Republican who called Larry Craig an "embarrassment."

Shelby is probably on LE to talk about being shot at by Iraqi insurgents. Meeks recently returned from Baghdad's International (Green) Zone and is wailing to surrender quickly.
