Meet the Press (NBC): Host Tim Russert continues his "Meet the Candidate" bit, having previously spoken to John Edwards and Joe Biden. This week, he talks to John McCain, natch, and perhaps he will ask for the answer about aluminum tubes. (Last week, Russert spoke about aluminum tubes with bestselling author George Tenet.)
FOX News Sunday (FNS): Host Chris Wallace talks to Rudy Giuliani: "How would a potential 'President' Giuliani wage the War on Terror? What is his plan for success in Iraq?" Why aren't people excited by the man?
Face the Nation (CBS): Host Bob Schieffer talks to Chuck Hagel. I've nothing to add.
This Week (ABC): Host George Stephanopoulos interviews Barack Obama and Brooke Shields. I'm not kidding, though I doubt he'll interview the two in the same segment. Though one never knows…. [NOTE: Ms. Shields was the Breck Girl in 1974, so perhaps she will be speaking for the John Edwards campaign.]
Late Edition (CNN): Host Wolf Blitzer talks to Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham, Babs Boxer… and his usual cast of zillions, including, for some reason, Max Cleland

Where are Harry Reid and famed Nazi hunter Dick Durbin? The real question this weekend, I think, deals with why they aren't going to push the latest House-passed version of the Pelosi-Murtha war funding bill in the Senate. The Senate Democrats received the same mandate in last November's election as did the House Dems. Remember the Democrat line: the American people have demanded that we surrender immediately, sacrificing the United States' regional and global interests to those behind the jihad. We voted for a humiliating defeat, and it is time for action! The Dems' best rep this week is Chuck Hagel, and he isn't with the right political party to spread the message of surrender.
Okay, please forgive the rant, but at least this week we'll receive reaffirmation that heads really can talk.
We'll have the review of these shows up live tomorrow when it is finished, here at RedState.com.

Max Cleland is probably on to remind us all how Saxby Chambliss "done him wrong" in the 2002 election. He'll point out that the Republicans are going to say Democrats are weak on defense in 2008, and he'll likely get into how morally wrong the Republicans are for supporting the war. That's my prediction as a Georgian, anyway. We'll see if it rings true.

Brooke Shields: another guest that's much better than Joe Biden.
