It's the stupid, meaningless anti-Bushie resolutions, stupid.

Meet the Press (NBC): Host Tim Russert will talk to House Republican Leader John Boehnor and the Dems' Steny Hoyer. Next week, the House will debate the meaningless posturing, anti-Bushie resolutions. Troops be damned, the House Democrats want to pose for the camera making harsh statements condeming the President's Iraq policy and tacitly, those charged with the hard work on the ground.

FOX News Sunday (FNS): Host Chris Wallace discussing the meaningless, anti-Bushie resolutions in the Senate: "Will Democrats block an Iraq troop surge with binding legislation?" They cannot block the rest of the surge unless they close the purse. But Jack Reed will represent the Dems on FNS; for the GOP, it will be Mitch: Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky.

Face the Nation (CBS): Host Bob Schieffer talks the meaningless resolutions with Chris Dodd and Trent Lott. Helping him to ask questions will be John Harris, the editor-in-chief of the web site, Politico. Next week, Bob, we want Erick.

This Week (ABC): Host George Stephanopoulos will talk to John Kerry about "his decision not to run in '08." I've checked several times, and I am certain that this is accurate.

Late Edition (CNN): Host Wolf Blitzer will talk to John Cornyn, whom we all know, and someone named Ron Wyden, whom I'm pretty sure is a Democratic U.S. Senator of some sort.

Wolf will have his usual cast of thousands, of course, which will include Terence McAuliffe on a book tour.

Boehnor vs. Hoyer is fair enough. Mitch vs. Jack Reed.. well, I'm sure they won't appear together. Dodd and Lott could be interesting, and maybe Bob will quiz Connecticut's Democratic Senator about his Hollywood millions. Cornyn vs. Wyden, why not?

When the media-centric debate on the little anti-Bushie resolutions is hot and about to get hotter, when Joe Biden is bollixing his operation as best he can, when Hillary and Edwards are using teeth, George Stephanopoulos, with his tons of DC contacts, brings us yesterday's news with yesterday's loser. What about Jack Murtha, George? He wants to defund our troops, yet you're wasting our time with a footnote to a footnote drafted three years ago?
