For Sunday, August 19, 2007

Meet the Press (NBC): Host Tim Russert talks to Karl Rove.
FOX News Sunday (FNS): Host Chris Wallace talk to Rove.
Face the Nation (CBS): Host Bob Schieffer talks to Rove, then he chats with John McCain.
This Week (ABC): Host George Stephanopoulos is moderating a Democrat Presidential candidates' debate.
Late Edition (CNN): Host Wolf Blitzer talks to Senators Kit Bond (R-Missouri) and Junior Casey (D-Pennsylvania); Mahmoud Othman of Iraq's parliament; and the founder of the Club for Growth, Stephen Moore.
------
I think the goal is to get Rove to blame Rumsfeld, Cheney, and Gonzales. He'll probably blame Nancy, dingy Harry, Chuckie, famed Nazi hunter Durbin, Rahm, and Okinawa Jack.
I know what I've said about Virginia's Jim Webb in the past, but he's not the dumbest guy in the Senate. When I made the claim, I was overlooking Pennsylvania's Bob Casey, junior, which is easy to do. Casey's sole personal and professional achievement is having a dad who, as Pennsylvania governor, was on the right side of Planned Parenthood v.…, 505 U.S. 833 (1992).
I'll cover the festivities, and my report will be here at RedState early Sunday afternoon.

Casey may not have accomplished much, but he's much better than George Bush's Arlen Specter - the ultimate RINO.

Specter, though sometimes liberal and oftn quixotic, at least was on the leash for Supreme Court justices and had to vote our way or lose his chairmanship. More importantly, he voted for Mitch McConnell for majority leader.
MTP has David Gregory leading a discussion with John Harwood, Ron Brownstein, Matt Cooper, and Kate O'Beirne.
I'd say that panel had a clearly conservative bias. Those four guys will require hospitalization when that panel is done.

Steph had the Dems in a debate in Iowa. It's a sad state of elected elite when Mike Gravel is laughed at when trying to warn us how ineffective the panel would be.

game. This is usually an open thread so, just thought I would point out that the long time of boredom is almost over, and the greatest creation of man is about to start.
It was my team the Texans over the Cardinals. It was interesting to see Jared Zabransky back in the same stadium where he broke a NCAA bowl passing record for his team Boise State and beat the mighty and detestable Oklahoma.
Looks like he can play on a green field just as well as a blue one.
