For Sunday, December 2, 2007

FOX News Sunday (FNS): Host Chris Wallace will talk to Mitchell Report author George Mitchell, the former Senator from Maine.
Meet the Press (NBC): Tim Russert will do his meet-the-candidates thing with 2008 Republican Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney.
This Week (ABC): Host George Stephanopoulos talks to 2008 Dem Presidential hopeful John Edwards and Alan Greenspan.
Face the Nation (CBS): Host Bob Schieffer will talk to 2008 GOP Presidential hopeful Fred Thompson… and Edwards.
Late Edition (CNN): Host Wolf Blitzer will chat with Edwards; ubiquitous 2008 Dem Presidential hopeful Joe Biden; Pat Buchanan; and Senators Kit Bond and Evan Bayh.
----------------------
George Mitchell's report, the Mitchell/BoSox offered nothing new but a few names torn as hearsay from a pair of criminals through threats of heavier jail sentences. He is a Director for the World Champion Boston Red Sox. He did not bring peace to Northern Ireland.
John Edwards is everywhere, and he has less than three weeks to hit hard in Iowa. That's where he's left his marbles. Fred Thompson (FTN) is also trying to stake his claim in Iowa.
The "argument" segment on LE will be Bond vs. Bayh, for what it's worth, but Edwards, Biden, and PJB are always interesting. No, really!
I'll have the review here by tomorrow afternoon.

the Sunday Shows every week. This is Romney's first appearance in a while. Giuliani was on Russert last week but has otherwise mostly avoided these shows. I don't see McCain this week, either, and this is Thompson's first appearance in a while.
I don't think keeping Huckabee off these shows could be considered "damage control." He was on almost every week in the past month, while his poll numbers shot up.
Hillary. I can't remember the last time she appeared on one of the Sunday talk shows.
Steph's ABC show on a moment's notice. After all, George used to work for her (at least indirectly).

???
This guy is working hard to alienate conservatives. I admire Bush for his steadfast fight against terrorism, and for Huckabee to repeat the canard that Bush "went it alone" makes me fear his judgment even more.
Huck has been married to the same woman, his kids love him and believes in God. More importantly, he believes in the "right" God, the one who never came to North American. /sarcasm off
endorsement and wants to have the chance to brag about it with these multiple appearances? He got it in 2004 and it helped him get the #2spot.
Conversely he knows he didn't get it (who did?) and is totally desperate as he is running third and that is not good enough.
Edwards is desperate for any free media he can get. He's locked down by campaign matching, doesn't have the money to go the distance, and stuck between an Obama and a Hardllary place. In '04, he hitched his wagon to Kerry and is paying the price for that fiasco so he won't even be considered for #2 this time. Must be tough to be less than #2.

I notice the absence of Mike Huckabee on the Sunday Morning list. Ed Rollins must be doing damage control by keeping Huckabee away from difficult interviews.
