Oh The Hypocrisy

The Missouri College Republicans presented Missouri Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill with the well deserved "Rubber Stamp Award" for "sidelining Missouri values to vote with east coast liberal Democrats."
McCaskill not only promised to be independent of party pressure and vote for the interests of Missouri, she promised not be a rubber stamp for the Democratic party and called Senator Talent a rubber stamp for voting with President Bush 94 percent of the time.
In the Senate, McCaskill has done the opposite of what she promised becoming a rubber stamp for the Democrat Party. McCaskill has voted with Senator Hillary Clinton 92 percent of the time, with Senator John Kerry 94 percent, and with Senator Edward Kennedy 96 percent.
Three cheers for Dan Bell, Jeremy Hagen, Stephen Smith, and the rest of the Missouri College Republicans. Well done.

...is a very good one for illustrating absurdity. The "find an immigrant," which involves lassoing others in sombreros, is a college stunt typical of a juvenile organization which, like Ann Coulter yesterday, is far more concerned with provocation and generating negative headlines than with actually making a relevant point of any kind.
Solid information combined with solid humor.

get what they deserve. Anybody fool enough to fall for the "independent" guff along with the "moderate" or "New Democrat" bull in this day and age aught to stay home and roast wieners on Election Day rather than inflict their gullibility & ignorance on the innocent.
Bill Clinton showed the Dems how.

For once it would be nice to hear 'sided with the left coast, peoples republic democrats'.

the Senate has held 58 votes total this year.
Thirty-three of those votes have had at least 80 senators on one side, almost all with less than 10 no votes.
So 56% of total Senate votes have been nearly unanimous...something tells me she has voted with the most conservative Senators over half the time as well.

The CR's have been blasted for everything funny and to the point lately, like the "Affirmative Action Bake Sale" and "Find the Immigrant". Just wondering if riots are going to break out and panting journalists will quote "appalled" or "offended" skulls full of mush, lest the CR's attack such a fine woman like Claire McCaskill.
