Jeb Hensarling has won the election to be the next Republican Study Committee Chairman.

Wow - at least the conservative caucus still votes for rock star, all-around conservatives to lead it. LOL
I might even venture that a Jeb Hensarling bid for GOP leader might be out best shot at getting a rock-ribbed conservative as the leader of the GOP based on the size of the Texas delegation - much the way Nancy Pelosi became Minority Leader due in large part to the support of the California delegation. There's no doubt that Dick Armey and Tom DeLay relied heavily on the Texas delegation to make them Majority Leader and Majority Whip.
For now, congratulations to Jeb Hensarling on his elevation to the RSC Chair. :-)
Our guys didn't move up the chart, but at least we kept the seat that Pence held for us.
