A *Free* Way To Help Get RedState To Iraq

This one is really easy, would be much appreciated, and is free.

If you have a blog, please consider writing a post about what Victoria and Jeff are doing. Help us get the word out. This is really going to be something unique and, if it goes well, we should really expect the Pentagon to be even more open to the idea of cooperating with bloggers in the field.

[Update by Moe Lane]: This suggestion is also extended to the Left side of the 'sphere - if only for your own collective benefit. There is no reason why you guys cannot send your own people to cover Iraq (Afghanistan, too, for that matter). In fact, if you really want to become/replace/supplant the regular media, you're going to have to learn how to do this sort of thing. So that means encouraging this sort of endeavour: or, to put it another way, we're indirectly doing this for your benefit, too.

I'd say "You're welcome," but that sort of implies that we expect any sort of "Thank you."

this morning...

Those who live by the sword get shot by those who don't.

I'm a partisan Democrat, but I think it would be of value to have a blogging team of both progressives and conservatives go. Maybe then we'd have some clue what's really happening.

As things stand its doubtful that anyone who doesn't already agree with you is going to pay any attention to what you report, and I'm sure the reverse would be true if Kos or FireDogLake were sending people over.

Not that my blog gets much traffic, but I'll give it a shot.
