Blackwater Already High On My List, Goes Higher

The New York Times alleges that Blackwater, note the headline blaming Blackwater and not Blackwater employees, killed its dog.

I thought this was a joke at first, but the New York Times had a dog that attacked a bomb sniffing dog helping Blackwater and the Blackwater team shot the liberal's dog.

Now, isn't that typical. It's not just the New York Times that undermines the war and security efforts. It's their damn dog too.

I bet it was a female dog. That'd make it more ironic.

Good for Blackwater and I sincerely hope that the New York Times is actually telling the truth this time and isn't fabricating details. But I wouldn't be surprised by a fabrication on their part.

and gets shot.

Yep. That's about right.

If the NYT people cared that much about the dog, they should have had it elsewhere or restrained it themselves.

the damn pup at home.

they no longer have an impact on society as a whole, so they want PETA to go after Blackwater. I mean look what they did to Vick. They are no lighweight political organization.

I personally love animals and am sad that the dog had to die but make no mistake it had to die. These idiots at the times have no clue who is really protecting their backsides.

I still predict 10 years from now no NY Times.

My dog can eat your dog.

Of course, I don't want him to get a hairball, so I'll get rid of the temptation.

I meant what I said and I said what I meant. An elephant's faithful 100 percent.

As a breeder and handler of performance and working dogs, I understand what happened and support what the Blackwater handler did...

Nothing will cause more trouble around working dogs than an unrestrained, untrained pet dog, and an equally untrained and clueless handler/owner (I use the word handler here with a large grain of salt...). It was not the pet dog's fault, but the idiot owner, who took the dog into an inappropriate situation, and then could not handle the dog responsibly. If anyone needs to be sanctioned, it is the irresponsible owner of the dog that got shot! I have been in similar (but less critical) situations, and have been furious at the dog owner, not the dog, for its behavior. People need to take responsibility for their pet's behavior!!!!

There is just too much training time, money, etc. put into the actual working dogs to allow anything preventable to happen to them.

Shocked, I say!

The New York Times has people in Iraq?
