Last year we commented on an untoward series of incidents in Iran which pointed to the beginning of an insurgency directed against the Tehran regime.

From ABC

A bomb explosion killed at least 18 members of Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards in southeastern Iran, the state-run news agency reported Wednesday.

A passenger car loaded with explosives stopped in front of their bus near Zahedan, the capital of Sistan-Baluchestan Province, the official Islamic Republic News Agency reported.

Baluchistan is where an attempt was made on the life of Ahmadinejad last year.

As the US ratchets up the accusations of Iranian meddling in Iraq we should expect to see more of this type of reporting from Baluchistan and from the predominantly Arab southwestern sectors of Iran.

Though it may be serendipitous, it is not hard to see these attacks, the refusal of the US to hand over MEK personnel to Tehran, and the public charges against Tehran as part of an ongoing covert war.

this will remain covert. More importantly, who will blink.

While I doubt Iran will do something massive like hit Israel, I'm hoping it won't take a massive hit on our forces before we say enough.
