BOBBY!

Ladies and gentlemen: I give to you, the new Gentleman from Louisiana: Bobby Jindal.

I've long thought Jindal had good things before him. I was right when I thought that the nasty part of Louisiana politics would sink him in his gubernatorial bid.

But the good man persevered. One of the good guys won.

The night gets better, guys.

I mean, I met him a couple of time.

Seriously, what great news. He's a good man.

Bobby is going to be fantastic in Congress - he can police the floor on his own, armed with only a blackberry and a copy of the morning paper.

I'm proud to say that I'm one of those that voted for Bobby Jindal and I'm thrilled that Lousisiana finally made such a great choice! (Now we just need Vitter to win without a runoff)

Bobby definitely got the shaft when running for governor, I would think that most republicans would agree. He went the gentlemanly route and didn't react to the dirty pool that came against him. Within a couple of days he went from being way up in the polls to losing after some nasty ads. I oftened pondered afterwards how this fine gentleman could lose after running such a clean campaign. I wondered how God could let this happen.......now I know......he had other things in plan for him. I smile tonight.

David Vitter, not Jindal... but still good.

If he doesn't run for the state house.
