Like Honey and Nut, They Go Together

Frustrated liberal 527s are asking themselves this year, "What can I do to help the Kerry Campaign? What do you give the campaign that bungles everything?"
Worry not, Soros Minions and Kossacks. I give you the perfect gift: Kerryporn.
That's right: If Kerry's incessant defeatism, windsurfing, thirty mansions, French looks, and willingness to sell out foreign policy to the angriest group of Europeans couldn't insult the heartland enough, there's always this:
THE adult film industry is hoping to pump up John Kerry's somewhat flaccid presidential campaign with "The Porn for Kerry DVD." Pro-Kerry group Pornforprogress.com is hawking the dirty disc, which has porn stars portraying the likes of Jenna Bush, Donald Rumsfeld, Ann Coulter, Al Franken, Tom Ridge and Lyndie England. All proceeds from the DVD, tastefully described as "part political satire and part hardcore hot sex," go toward Kerry campaign efforts in swing states.
Genius. Sheer, unadulterated (hee hee) genius.
The funny thing about McCain-Feingold -- and there aren't many things that are really all that funny about striking large sections of the First Amendment -- is how, despite John McCain's incumbent protection plan's best efforts, the Law of Unintended Consequences still holds. Candidates have less control over their message than ever.
Thus, were Kerry not so completely capable of self-destruction -- and he is -- he'd still have Mikey Moore, MoveOn, Pornforprogress, and so on, ad nauseam, reaching out to, and annoying/horrifying, swing voters (and easily turned off base voters) on his behalf.
I have predicted, since April, a Bush 52-44 win. The approval ratings suggest I'm right. But a few more -- Pedophilesforprogress.com? Flashersforthefuture.com? -- "helping hands" (hee hee) from Kerry's supporters, and it might be Reagan-Mondale time all over again.
Memo to Democrats: Lie down with dogs, and nasty things unrelated to fleas happen to you.

52-44 sounds about right (I'd say 53-45 since I don't think Nader will get more than 2%). However, the increasing number of reports of potential voter fraud and other problems is tempering my expectations of a big Bush win and it could be enought to put the election into a Florida 2000 rerun.
