Sex at CPAC -- My Turn as Stephen Glass

It was rather humorous yesterday to see several of the college guys clinging as tight as absolutely possible to their girlfriends. Talk about PDA. Sister Mary Francis would have been appalled.
Even funnier was walking across from the Reagan Building to the CVS to buy legal pads. There were a few guys standing in line buying condoms with CPAC credentials hanging around their necks. And who says conservatives are no fun.
Nice "investigation," Erick. Glad to see some "corroboration" of Glass' "reporting" :-)
(I was tempted to write "Stephen who?" in response instead.)
As a former CR, I can say that we're definitely not the stuffed shirts one would think... well, at least not some of us.
I still have my old College Republicans bottle opener (the best piece of marketing one could have for college campuses these days) - the logo's long since rubbed off, but it comes in handy quite often.
Conservatives love families. In fact, they love families so much, they're trying to create a couple while at the convention. :)
Heh, yeah, it's not the first time I've used it. I've first used it about 8 months ago on a campaign I was working on.

I mean, in a year or two I intend to show up at CPAC, preferably with my fiancee by my side... but we try to stay away from the really clingy stuff. At least while others are around.
But in regards to the guys in the CVS... the College Republicans bill themselves as "the best party on campus"... I guess some people are taking that to its logical conclusion. Heh.
I can imagine seeing that might make some people over at Kos or the like go berserk... but yes, conservatives can have fun too. Just we prefer not to flaunt it... all the better when what you're up to is just between you and the one you love.
