Brown Confirmed/ debate ended on Pryor

The Senate today voted 56-43 to confirm Judge Janice Rogers Brown to sit on the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit. The Democrat voting yea was Nebraska's Ben Nelson, while Jim Jeffords of Vermont did not vote.
Senator Daniel Inouye, the Hawaii Democrat who missed the cloture and confirmation votes for Judge Priscilla Owen, voted nay.
The Senate also voted cloture for Judge William Pryor, 67-32, with Jeffords again sitting.
