Larry Arnn wrote a piece at townhall.com about this issue.
And you're right. If Americans freely give up their right to free speech, it is the end.
It is so shameful that what Hamilton, Madison, Washington, Johnson, etc. worked so hard for, gave up blood, sweat and treasure for, can be cast aside by our current cast of pork laden fools.
As B. Franklin said (possibly paraphrasing), "It's a republic, if you can keep it."
We are failing to keep it. Now, in our most informed hour. :(
