The Sheehan "Hate America" Ad Campaign

Sean Hackbarth points out that the gang behind Mother Sheehan is going to run a $1 million print ad campaign in USA Today and 14 other newspapers (no doubt the New York Times will make an inkind gift [Ed -- not when they are laying people off]).
The print campaign will use the tag line "They Lied, They Died." There will be a corresponding television campaign. The ads will target particular congressional districts.
Part of the group behind Sheehan and the ad campaign is the Win Without War Coalition. The group is composed of many left wing groups including the National Council of Churches, the NAACP, Greenpeace, etc. Basically, think of a lefty group and it is probably a member.
Remember, you can do something about this. You can show your support for our troops and their mission. Operation Iraqi Hope is willing to help get a group of ten or more to Washington to participate in the counter protest. There are other ways to help too.

We know damn well that the terrorists and the anti-American overseas news media will be foaming at the mouth with glee over this "peace" demonstration in Washington, DC. I'm glad that Move America Foreward, Protest Warrior, and other pro-American organizations are going to attend and stage a counter-protest of their own.
What I'm hoping for, is that the spoiled brat Marxists behind the anti-war movement will try to instigate a violent reaction from the pro-troops folks, and that it blows up in their face. If the pro-America people keep their cool and don't respond violently when the protestors spit at them, throw blood and feces on them, and continually behave like the spoiled little children very much in need of a spanking like they are, it will send a good message. Not only that, let's make sure that there are plenty of video and still cameras documenting the bad behavior of the Left. Let's make sure that those images get posted on all the conservative blog sites.
In addition, the Left is very good at being poltical street fighters, and the Right isn't. By this I mean, we conservatives tend to think that the American people will see the protestors for what they really are: A powerful Marxist movement hell-bent on the destruction of the United States of America for the purpose of forcing us into a one world Communist government under the control of the United Nations, with "them" being in charge. However, we need to start realizing that most Americans are either asleep at the switch, or gullible enough to think that it could never happen. The Left knows that Americans, with the fabulous "dumbed down" public education system that they created, IS both gullible and asleep at the switch. They made sure of it, starting in the early 1960s. What we need to do is get the American people turned against the anti-war crowd. We need to demand that the Main Stream Media start reporting the truth instead of constantly adopting a "blame America first" posture like they have ever since George W. Bush was elected president in 2000. How do we do this? Use the Left's tactics against them.
The first tactic is use boycotts. Start by organizing boycotts against any and all companies that advertize in the "Leftstream" media. Hit them in the pocketbook where it counts. Let these companies know that if they advertize in media that takes a left wing slant rather than the truth, we won't buy their products. Keep this up until they stop paying for advertizing in Left oriented publications. In addition, boycott papers like the New York Times and the Washington Post, until they either change their slant on the news to either a support the troops position, or at least a neutral position. Secondly, get enough information out there before the public about the Left's love affair with Marxism, and their goal of Socialism and eventually Communism in America.
We need to get the American people angry enough at these left wing moonbats that they will reduce them to a bunch of powerless whiners. I can't imagine America tollerating the anti-war crowd during World War II. They would have been treated like pariahs. We need to do that again. We need to expose where the Communist supported money trail comes from for the anti-war movement, International ANSWER, Workers World Party, Code Pink, etc., and make sure that it becomes widespread public knowledge. We are at war with a faction that is determined to destroy the Western World as we know it, and the Left is their ally. I believe that is called treason. If violence against American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan increases after this so called "peace" rally in Washington, DC, it's proof as far as I'm concerned that the anti-war movement is aiding and abetting the enemy. Arrest the leaders and charge them with treason and/or sedition. It's time to rally together like we did during World War II. The future of Western Civilization is at stake here.
I could be there. I'd even set up a Recruiting Stand in between the 2 factions and see how many fellow Recruiters I could get out there with me. Not only would it put a "thin green line" between 2 potentially violent, opposing groups, but it would even help our nation with every person we could get Military info out to.
And besides, it'd be funny as All get out if Anti-War protestors started siging up...
This new group seems to be using the clueless Cindy Sheehan as a sock puppet. Why does the Left not see freedom as a positive good worth dying for? Michael J. Totten posted a moving article today about a Syrian friend who just became an American citizen. It's a good antidote to the nonsense spouted by the Kumbaya Coalition.
