I'll be doing the Ascent Live! program again tonight, which can be streamed live via the KVDU website. I'll be on from 7:30-8:00 EST. This was pretty much a last-minute setup, so it's wide open as far as the topic list, but I'm told that Iraq will be front and center.

That I lack season? :-)
Are always good with me. ;) And more to the point, you did a great job in a totally unstructured interview, which can be difficult. The interviewer had several of the latest meeeeems from the WaPo and elsewhere at his fingertips and you did a good job of handling the curveballs. He's a very smart guy, what are the chances that he votes Republican?
In any case it was a very civil interview and a good discussion and a credit to both you and the host for keeping it that way.
As far as the substance of the interview is concerned, I particularly liked your response in which you talked about the magnitude of the sacrifice involved versus the benefit. I was talking about this today with my dad, and frankly he was depressed because it sometimes seems that the Media has won even though essentially all the dire prognostications of the rabid Left have been disproved and it has probably been the least costly war in American history.
He's worked for Republicans before. Republicans you would know if I named them. Not sure how often he's voted for them, but he's very smart and knowledgeable, and I respect him a lot.

And Leon is doing a great job, but it always reminds me again when I hear unapologetic Republican/Conservative voices on the air, in conversations about issues: we need more of them, and they need the experience and the seasoning. The liberals have it all over us when it comes to being media-savvy, and it's rare that we get this kind of chance. Kudos to KVDU for providing the forum.
