Cynthia McKinney Is an Idiot. Film at 11.

I try not to waste my time on insignificant people. That’s why generally I don’t write about Wesley Clark and I don’t get my drawers all in a knot over what various lefty blogs might think… considering such an activity was possible.

But in the case of Cynthia McKinney I am willing to make an exception.

The woman is a bigot. The woman is a disgrace to a body as morally deficient as the House Democrat caucus. She has no business occupying a scintilla of space on the American political landscape.

Read on.

Update [2006-3-31 10:43:43 by streiff]: There is a report that the cop involved has been ordered to neither press charges nor sue in this case. Capitol Hill police now say they will issue an arrest warrant.

For those of you who missed the big news this week a US Capitol Police officer made the racially influenced decision to ask an otherwise unidentifiable McKinney for identification when she bypassed the metal detector.

We know the decision was racially based because the police officer was white. A white police officer, it goes without saying, is a racist by his very nature.

Instead of acting like we’d expect an adult to act in this situation by producing identification, she engaged in an altercation with the police officer and struck him. Anyone else striking a police officer, like a middle aged white guy, for instance, might experience a Close Encounter of the Worst Kind but this officer apparently wasn’t up on his Bull Connor routine and let her proceed after she produced identification.

Today she issues one of the more bizarre press releases ever to emanate from the office of a member of congress in which she claims to have been singled out for harassment by white police officers, presumably because she is black and not because they enjoy harassing the profoundly stupid.

For those who have enjoyed the antics of this vicious crone from afar over the years this is simply par for the course. Whether opining on Al Gore’s “Negro tolerance level,” complaining about Supreme Court decisions, or dealing with Capitol Police officers McKinney has demonstrated that she holds a deep-seated racial animosity. An animosity that makes David Duke look charmingly urbane by comparison.

It is up to the Congress and this creature’s own caucus to decide whether people like her are fit to serve in that body. The answer is probably “yes” but someone at least needs to ask the question.

actually voting for this freak?  I mean, really, can the GOP in GA not find anyone?...have they called Alan Keyes?

Considering her reputation, maybe the officer's uniform had an American flag on it, and that's what offended her so much.

my "backpack of privilege." I remember in college when I raised issues like this the multiculturalists told me I didn't understand because I had been given a whole host of special rights and benefits because I was white. I was blind to my own inherent racism. I was therefor not allowed to criticize people of color.

I think this is what is going on here.

Or Rep. McKinney is as crazy as a loon. One or the other . . .

I have fair skin, and Al Gore said that people like me can get free money to start a business, by virtue of special connections and that skin tone.

But for the life of me I have no idea where to get it.  Could someone help me out?

thanks,

...that her congressional district is rather interestingly drawn and heavily Democrat (and "urban" [which is apparently the marketing euphemism for "black"]).

...call your dad.  All of us white guys have fathers who made fortunes on the backs of the downtrodden.

She may just be very efficient and nobody noticed.

Cleaverly, she has split her personality into many parts and hierarchy's, she now commands the super-human ability to conduct with and interact with several different subjects simultaneously.

In this instance, noting that she has a stick-up-her-*ss, that she was hungry, and that her sister was doing her boyfriend, she mindfully divided her personality and concentration on all 3.

The "stick" portion of the personality was not what you may think (The top of the personalilty hierarchy), it was the lower part. While thinking of what poison she was going to use on her sister, and if the Quarter Pounder with Cheese had less calories than the Tripple Whopper when super-sized, her third tier personality found a way to slap the officer, but held short of spitting on him, (which of course demonstrates restraint). This in turn bought her more time for the primary personality to make sure the choice of poison was correct.

Genius if you ask me.

THIS IS WHY THIS WOMAN CONTINUES TO REMAIN IN OFFICE!

it is referred to as "emerging markets."  Really, it is!

An animosity that makes David Duke look charmingly urbane by comparison.

this creature's

Surely there are better ways to make your point...

What amazes me is she gets a free pass being racist.  Just because this police officer was white he was automatically "racist" towards black people.  Isn't that stereotyping white police officers?  Of course it is.

you don't like it, don't read it. But your petty editing torques me a bit. I'll decide what is the best way to make my point.

And you omitted my favorite: vicious crone.

Then the cop needs to quit, and THEN file suit.

I thought those comments rather soft-peddled the CongressLemming.  If you bother to read up on Mr. Duke and Ms. McKinney you'll find that if streiff's comment was unfair to anyone, it was unfair to David Duke.

I used to live in New Hampshire.  The Loon is the State Bird.  They are really quite lovely and their call is both intriguing and soothing.  They are really wonderful examples of God's creation.  Need I mention that McKinney is neither intriguing, soothing or a wonderful example of God's handiwork.

Personally, I like the colorful anctidotes. But several other descriptives cound have been utilized. For instance:

(1). "Beeeaaaach", to appeal to the younger, more hip crowd.

(2). "She'll beat you like a pinata", for the illegals and spanish speaking American's.

(3). "Subject is a racist felone. She has physically assaulted a city police officer, could be armed, and should be considered dangerous to those uniform". That of course is for ex-military, civil servants and all those in uniform.

(4). ")$^^#  (&$% )&%&*(#", which of course is for all those "in the hood".

(5). "Senator caught on tape slapping police officer who's alien baby she is carrying, and having an affair with crack-a-lacking good, Witney Houston", for those "Enquiring" minds.

(6). "That's the kinda woman thata' run your hog *ss off the road" for the Nascar crowd.

and finally,

(7). "Bless this confused child, and show her the way, away from hatred and racism", for the Roman Catholic crowd.

In this case he has chosen the phrase;

"An animosity that makes David Duke look charmingly urbane by comparison".

and

"...this creature's...", for the RedState crowd. Targeted for a specific audience, I would have done the same.

Redstate convince Gamecock to run?

I guess somebody should have told you much earlier in life, where to cash in on all the white-only bennies.  So here's a short list to get you started:

-- join up to the NAAWP, a powerful right-wing advocacy group that, astoundingly,  still has IRS status as a non-political charitable organization.  Mention that you always vote Republican.  As a member of the NAAWP, you can be free to donate, tax-free, to conservative and GOP causes.  You can make any nonsensical, race-baiting comment you want to.  Since the press is another subtly right-leaning org, they will be sure to run cover for you, since your racist views are simply an honest viewpoint.  And you can rest assured that most whites will only hire other whites, that the NAAWP can strong-arm municipalities into throwing white-owned businesses a certain amount of business purely because of race.

-- work out in the gym alot, then go try out for a NWBA team.  The Dallas Mavericks are a well-known white-friendly org, owned by a rich white guy, known to throw lavish contracts around, but only to white players.  Be aware, they are currently coached by a token black, their 15-man roster has 12 token blacks (+ a German,m a Russian, and one actual USA-born white guy, whose nake is Dutch).  However, they are not doing so well this year -- a mere 54-18, 3rd best record in the NWBA.  Apparently not enough white guys on the roster.  Note -- it helps if you are over 6'3" height and can pull off a tomahawk dunk leaping from the free-thow line.  Just sayin'.

-- go to the heartland, fly-over country.  All throughout the South, Midwest, and Rockies, it is well-known that in any medium-sized town, you will automatically be given a job or have your new business subsidized if you are white, since this is the home of all those closet racists who have Confederate flags tacked up in their garages (there's even a song about that....).  Just start off at the local chamber of commerce, or better yet, the general store or the saloon.  You know, here in fly-over, it's like walking into a set of Gunsmoke or Bonanza.

So, see if that gets you started.

After his deplorable behavior when ran for the Senate in Illinois and his attacks on the Vice President's daughter - not to mention the horrible way he treats his own, I wouldn't spit in his face if he were on fire.

everything considered an example of wacky in the English language has its avocates :-)

Fabulous!

I am sure it is in response to her press release. What an absolute slap in the face that was to the people trying to protect her! It is so revolting that when you are wrong you cry "racist". It brings images of Tawana Brawley back to the surface.

If she wants race to be an issue, I am glad the Police want to oblige.

if you spent your entire youth living in the Hay-Adams Hotel you might be forgiven for thinking that  :-)

have unfortunately had their names co-opted and used for evil.   And yes, loons are quite  lovely creatures.   Here in Texas we do have a creature that fits quite aptly Rep McKinney(D-Stupidville).  Sharp teeth, surly disposition, not all that bright, walks around with a  sense of entitlement.  The opossum.

the 'crone' part. I've always liked the sound of that when applied to politicians.

did you just arrive on our planet yesterday from Venus or soemthing :-)

someone take these clowns down a notch. And I say that for any and all of the politicians who think that being elected to office elevates them into the hallowed ranks of Hollywood celebrity or something.

There are a number of them up there that have come to believe that elected office is some sort of sinecure or something.

gila monster.  Not particularly attractive (OK, ugly as sin), and has a poisonous bite.  The bite will kill small creatures but will only make humans sick.  Contact with a gila monster leaves you with a scar from the bite and a desire to never see another.

SNAP!!       5*

the signs?

"Redstate loves .."

"Georgia Loves...."

Sorry, it's Friday, adn I'm ready for the weekend!

The lecture from Scott Ritter yesterday killed me.

and I move for acceptance by acclamation. gamecock is drafted, see you on the ballot :-)

the state whose motto is, according to Newt Gingrich, "Live Free or Die, not Live Free or Whine About It." I liked that line from the instant I heard it.

...and keep an eye on Vernon Jones, too.

I grew up in Dekalb County, and now I just watch from across the river as it descends into the third world.

to organize social functions...

She's an Aisle Bird.  I'll bet she has that ID ready when she shows up four hours early to get a good seat at the SOTU address.  Maybe security will look at her a little differently next year when she presents herself for admittance.  That is, if she still represents her district.  I've heard rumors of a credible challenge.  Gamecock, what say you?

Cynthia McKinney is still a no-show at her promised press conference.  Her dad Billy "the knife" Mckinney, who is an ex Atlanta cop and ex Georgia state legislator, sees nothing wrong with her striking a police officer.

Monica, not Bill, quit her job at the White House following his abuse of her.

The same standard applies here.  The important Democrat office-holder guilty of abuse gets to keep their job.

Could all the Bush voters in that district sign a petition to draft Denise Majette in the Dem primary? She would be an improvement, since she doesn't have a chance of winning a GA Senate seat.

an offer she couldnt refuse to convince her not to seek re-election.

seriously

But an arrest, if anything, will improve her political prospects. Witness John Street, saved from a tough re-election fight by the discovery of an FBI bug in his office, clearly an attempt by The Man to "get" The Great John Street. (The fact that a great deal of the city Treasurer's office got hauled away and cuffed as a result of the probe is neither here nor there.)

I worked for a short time in 2004 with one of VJ's cousins. This cousin, who came from Boston (and worked in VJ's campaign), claimed he was a dyed-in the-wool Democrat, but in conversation, he came off more like a centrist 9/11 Democrat, and on national security he was positively hawkish.  Then again, maybe he was just saying what he thought I wanted to hear.

Philadelphia continues its slow but sure descent into the depths of the underworld

evolution is a crock of brown smelly stuff.  Why on earth would the selfish gene have chosen her?
